---Shurti's POV ---

Yesterday was definitely a day I will never forget.

Deciding to give this marriage a chance was the best decision I made.

I had decided to get out of bed and make breakfast but my hubby had a tight grip on me and that's why I'm still here.

I tried to get out of it but it just got tighter and I didn't want to wake him up.

"What're you looking at?" He asked.

"Trying to figure out why you have such a tight grip on me. I'm not going to fall out of bed," I said and he laughed at that.

"You never know," he said.

He placed a kissed on my forehead.

"I can't believe I wasted a part of my life not realizing how lucky I was to wake up next to you," he said making me blush.

"Truly is your loss," I said.

"Anyways, you have to go to work and even I have to go turn some stuff in today, so get up," I said.

"I don't want to," he said.

"Okay, then let me get up," I said.

"No," he said.

"Ziddi!" I said.

"Learned from you," he said.

"Wow!" I said.

"You know what i want in life now?" He asked.

"To let me get up so I can turn my stuff in," I said.

"Not even close," he said.

"What do you want?" I asked.

He didn't say anything. He just looked at me and smiled making my heart race.

"I want several years from now to have our daughter come into our room and being as stubborn as her mom is. Just not let us sleep. Yell at us to get up because she's getting late for school and then knowing you, your probably going to say it's my fault she's late," he said.

I couldn't stop smiling as he was talking. I was getting a bit emotional at parts but he wasn't letting the tears out of my eyes.

"I just hope you'd want the same," he said.

"As long as as I'm with you," I said.

"Always," he said giving me a kiss on the cheek.

"Now, get up," I said and thankfully he finally got up.

I got my clothes and went to the other bathroom to get ready.

Once I was done I went to the kitchen but didn't even get a chance to start cooking.

He said we'd eat out for breakfast and we had so much fun doing so.

"I'm going to get a ride back home with a friend," I said as he parked by my work.

"Boy?" He asked.

"Yes, a boyfriend," I joked.

"Okay, stay safe and he flirts with you just put your hand up and show him your wedding ring," he said.

"Do I have to?" I asked.

"If he's gay then no," he said.

"Why would a gay guy flirt with me?" I asked.

He started laughing.

"You seriously are just something else," he said kissing me.

This wasn't our first kiss and I still felt butterflies and sparks.

"I love you," he said.

"I love you too," I said.

I went to my workplace as he drove away.

The whole time thinking how I got so lucky.

Once I was done I went home with one of my friends.

Wasn't even a guy but that was a fun conversation.

I went to our room and switched into something comfortable and just laid down.

I started thinking about everything he said this morning.

I didn't even realize how much I was thinking about everything and blushing til my phone went off and his name showed up.

"Hello," I said.

"Hey, are you home?" He asked.

"Ya, why?" I asked.

"Nothing. I just sent a file with my mom, please sign it," he said.

"With your mom?" I questioned.

"Don't worry babe, I've talked to her and she won't try to come between us. I so wish I could see your reaction," he said.

"Acha? What's it about?" I asked.

"You'll see," he said.

"Is it a project? Are you going to give me a project? I have a job!" I said and he laughed at that.

"You'll see. I have to go, I've got clients I need to attend to," he said.

"Okay," I said. "But I won't work for you!"

"You already do," he said.

True.

"Ugh! Hate you!" I said.

"Love you so much more," he said.

"Go do your work," I said and hung up.

I couldn't stop smiling. Felt so lucky!

His mom came in a few seconds later and my heart shattered seeing the papers.

"Divorce papers," I said shocked.

She nodded.

I called him.

"Hello," he said.

"This is what you want me to sign?" I asked.

"Ya. I've already gone through it,"he said.

"You sure this file?" I asked.

"Babe, it's a blue file and it's legal work," he said.

Surprisingly enough the papers were legal work in a blue file in front of me.

"I thought this can't happen til a year was up," I said.

"Same, but the faster the better," he said.

That broke my heart.

"Okay, I'll sign them," I said.

"Thank you," he said and hung up.

I signed the paper's, leaving my tear stains on them.
