People mistake the power of a rose.
Something so gentle, beautiful and pure.
But it has random thorns that not everyone knows.
Yet it's still given out like its a cure.
They're handed out while one waits for smiles.
To see their face of a loved one light up once more.
You'd do anything for them, like walk 5,000 miles.
Because they are someone you truly adore.
So you give it away,
Say your I love you.
And the next thing they say
Is I love you too
