You go through the the day trying to forget the hugs, the hand holds, the laughs, the nicknames, the late night texts and calls.
But it sticks to you tighter than ever and you can feel every piece of you that crumbles and falls.
You try to forget he ever existed and you try to push every ounce of him away.
But you know deep down you want him to stay.
You delete every picture, every text, any reminder of why you two had.
But everything you try just leaves you sad.
So you go through you day, one by one.
Until one day you realize the hard part is done.

But if you force the wound to heal,
Time will not be able to help.
Some may take longer than others,
