You seem to have this light.
This one that shines without burning my eyes.
You seem to guide me through the night.
Without telling me deceiving lies.
You've been by my side ever since I've fallen,
And, for some reason, never thought to leave.
I've already lost everything so I guess I'm all in.
But you won't hurt me, or so I believe.
Sad truth is, we'll never be something more.
No matter how badly I want it.
Because you are someone I truly adore.
But you will never know it.
