Only a few months into the filming of Marvel's second Avenger movie, Age of Ultron, filming has been put on pause due to Poppy's personal problems. Approximately two weeks ago, Poppy's father, Gregory, died of a heart attack. While this is a serious and sensitive topic, Poppy took to Twitter mid-afternoon yesterday to apologize to fans for going M.I.A.
It's okay! We understand, Poppy! Unfortunately, many fans have responded to her tweets with insensitive remarks about how the movie better not be delayed because of her absence on set. But wait! Chris Evans has swooped in like the super hero he is to save the day!
Chris tweeted that he was actually Poppy's biggest fan! Aw, how sweet! Fans have been wanting these two friends to get together for months now! Could our dreams finally be coming true? OR will not even Chris be enough to save Poppy from her mental breakdown. Poppy tweeted,
"mentally I am not capable of spending hours on set pretending to be someone else when I can barely handle being myself"
We know Chris flew home with Poppy during her break from filming, but does that necessarily mean they're romancing each other? Perhaps he's just being a good friend! We'll let you decide!
