To My Best Girl,

You never fail at making me smile, Becky. Hah. I can almost picture you cringing every time I called you that. Always very cute.

The picture of you has definitely calmed my nerves, and that nurse, she's been assigned somewhere else. Won't be a problem. Did you receive an official telegram about my injury? If not, they are really behind.

Our base received a radio recently. I can listen to Bob Hope now. Real funny guy. We have to stay in Tunisia because of the possible threat of another bombing in England. But I think we could go there soon. I think.

I also learned of bombings by the Brits and the Americans. That'll do some good.

I don't have much else to say, I'm very tired. I miss hearing the sound of your voice every night before we go to sleep. I guess I'll hear you in my dreams.

I love you, Beck. So so much.
