Dearest Bucky,

It brings me great joy to hear that you are getting along well with your fellow soldiers. I could never thank you, nor them enough for the sacrifices you have made for this country.

The summer storms have cause quite a fright for the past week. I get nervous all alone in our home. The thunder makes the windows creak and the building rumble, and the Lightning lights up the night as if it were day time.

Work has begun to run a little rampant lately. There has been a massive need for larger shells. That makes the workplace a lot more unsafe than it already is. I am not afraid. I do what I have to do, and the job gets done.

Hope London is everything we've dreamed it would be. I love you, Bucky.
