Dear Rebecca,

I don't know what to say. I cried. I cried a lot.

Is our family destined for tragedy, or can I blame it on this stupid war?

These missions get more and more dangerous as time progresses. I'm scared for my life, Rebecca. This next mission is going to be the hardest one yet.

You have to stay strong for me, Rebecca. Stay strong for your parents and your Nephew. I will stay strong for you as well.

I hope you had a good Christmas, regardless of the circumstance. You deserve a good Christmas. I'm proud to call you the strongest woman I know. You can do this. You're a fighter. I am proud to call you my future bride and first true love. You are the light of my life, Rebecca Jolene Wood.

I love you, my Becky.
