Day one: meeting the short boy who can see ghosts
"yoh? Gah where did that guy go we need to get some sleep we have school in the morning" I said looking around then I saw a nearby cemetery and suddenly I heard someone scream causing me to run only to find a kid run away as yoh stood smiling surrounded by ghosts "bro we so have to work on your people skills when it comes to socializing with the living" I said with a hand on my head
"huh" yoh said "oh hey Yuki wanna look at the stars with us?" yoh asked smiling and I smiled too
"fine but we got to leave soon remember we have school in the morning" I said with my hands on my hips under my purpled poncho causing it to lift a bit showing the bottom of my long baggy black shirt underneath as my baggy tan cargo pants seemed to complete the outfit along with my black tennis shoes.
"right" yoh said smiling calmly
The next day
'gah I can't believe he convinced me to stay out all night again' I thought with a yawn as we entered the school I was wearing the school uniform shirt but I chose to wear a pair of baggy tan cargo pants instead of the uniform pants and on my head I had my black ribbon tied around my head like normal as my hair hung down to my waist with the ends of the ribbon dangling to my mid back you'd think like this people would realize I'm a girl but no my chest is small so I look like a guy so people just assume yoh and I are identical twin boys.
Currently yoh and I were being lead to a class room that would be our home room for the rest of the year well while we were at school that is. But once we followed the teacher in to the room
"that-that's him" the boy from last night said pointing at yoh "th-there's two of him" the boy said freaking out causing me and yoh to blink a bit as we watched
"do you know him Mr. Manta" the teacher asked as yoh and I just watched with matching calm expressions on our faces
"uh no" the boy said
"then sit down already" the teacher said
'gee harsh' I thought 'oh well I wonder what will happen next?' I thought blinking
"I guess you can all assume what is going on this is yoh and yuki Asakura they're your new classmates they are from Izumo I expect you all to be nice to them" the teacher said
"yes sir" some students said
Later though
Yoh was sitting listening to music through his headphones while the short boy walked up to him and I sat in the desk in front of yoh
"hey" the short boy said but yoh couldn't hear him "HEY" the boy yelled getting yoh's attention "we met yesterday at the grave yard, you were with a pack of ghosts" the boy said
"right who are you" yoh asked and I sighed as I shook my head while some of the other kids started to tease the boy and I turned to face the kid
"Don't take it personally he can't really hear with his headphones on" I said calmly
"huh" the kids said but then I started to drift off and think about other things
'I wonder if I should make curry tonight?' I thought
Later after school
Yoh went to stare at a river for a while as I went home to do some homework and a few other things but then when I finished that I headed to the grave yard
Only to find a tombstone tipped over and cut in half
"how disrespectful" I said with my hands in my pockets as yoh arrived
The next day at school
The short guy was fighting with his friends about something as yoh and I entered the room only then the shorty yelled about how he really saw something
"he's not lying" yoh said "ghosts really do exists"
"yeah" I said smiling slightly but then class started but during class yoh kept watching the short guy as I glanced at the kid every now and again for the spirits at the grave yard told us that the kid was beat up by a guy named wooden sword Rio and his gang
But then as school ended
"why don't we invite the short guy to the graveyard tonight" yoh said and I smiled slightly
"alright" I said stretching slightly "I'll meet you there I'm gonna drop off my homework and stuff at home and probably work on a bit of it"
"alright" yoh said smiling as he left leaving me in the room to get my things gathered up as he went to meet the kid
'I hope that kid will become our first living friend' I thought with a small smile
But then later that night
I arrived at the grave yard at sunset and saw that yoh had the kid tied to a tree
"wow you sure didn't want him to get away" I said poking the ropes that held the kid to the tree "your morty manta right? I'm Yuki nice to formally meet you" I said smiling "so, we getting ready for a fight?" I asked Yoh
"kind of" Yoh said and I smiled as I unbuttoned the school shirt that was over a black tank top
"you're a girl" morty yelled and I blinked and look at him
"yeah" I said calmly then I smiled "I guess I do kind of look like a boy huh?"
"you sure fooled him" yoh said as we laughed as morty started to panic
"we got to get out of here rio and his gang are gonna be here soon" morty said
"calm down" I said smiling "we can take 'em"
"what are you insane" morty nearly yelled
"no not insane" I said smiling "but we are something different you could say" I said with my hands in my pockets as I looked up at the stars while leaning against the side of the tree morty was tied to.
But soon we heard some guys talking as they approached as morty panicked yoh and I kept cool I decided to let yoh handle the talking since the spirit of the grave marker that was destroyed had agreed to possess yoh in order to fight the guys that destroyed his grave marker
But when two of the guys from the gang started to charge I stepped up
"let me handle these small fry it's been a while since I've had a decent fight" I said
"fine" yoh said smiling
"in the mean time I'll give you time to merge with the spirit" I said smiling back at yoh before I looked back at the guys charging towards us but when they were only feet away I closed my eyes and smiled as suddenly to everyone else I seemed to vanish and the guys charging passed right by where I once was only to fall to the ground out cold as I reappeared "ah what a nice warm up ok bro your turn" I said with my hands behind my back as I walked back to the tree
When rio and his gang left we managed to glue the grave marker back together though it was kind of twisted a bit it was still better than it was before.
