A piece of home away from home

After a while of riding on a horse drawn hay wagon we all decided to stop at a Japanese themed resort called Jethro's Japanese Village.

'how strange it's styled like ancient Japan' I thought looking around at the old Endo era styled village

But later we got settled in to an inn with a hot spring. Of course me being the only girl of the group went in to the female spring but still it was nice being able to soak in the warm water and relax as I let all that happened just melt away for a few moments.

"Sora" I whispered and Sora appeared in the spring relaxing just as I was

"hn what is it?" she asked as I closed my eyes

"if you don't feel you can trust me or if you feel you want to leave because of my connection with Zeke I won't blame you nor will I stop you from leaving" I said looking at the water in front of me with a sad look on my face

"honestly if I could hit you I would" Sora said and I looked at her surprised "is that what's been bugging you? SeRiously Yuki you're my partner and I'm your Guardian ghost I'm not going anywhere for you are also my greatest friend"

"I thought you might say that I just" I started as a worried look covered my face

"you felt it would be right to ask anyways." Sora said as her pipe appeared and she started to smoke "that's one reason we're such good friends Yuki. Unlike most shaman you and your brother as well as your friends treat us spirits like friends rather than tools"

"people are people and deserved to be treated as such even if it's just their spirit the way I see it your still alive until you've given up on life all together" I said smiling

"Yuki you know you forgot to take off your head band" Sora said and I looked surprised

"oh your right" I said about to untie it but I hesitated at one point before I closed my eyes and untied the back of the black strip of cloth and I wrapped it around my hand revealing strange markings on my forehead as I touched them with my hand they appeared to look like squiggles and then in the center of my forehead was a symbol and I looked down at my necklace for it was the same as my necklace the crescent moon with the sun resting in it.

"remind me again how you got those markings on your head. They look like scars yet they're not are they?" Sora asked

"I was born with them" I said touching them again "grandpa said that it was a sign that I was special. But I thought they looked weird so I hide them with my head band" I said looking up at the sky

Later though after I had gotten out of the spring and dressed in a robe and my head band placed back around my head I walked to the room the boys were in only to find them playing ping pong.

"hey Yuki you were in there for a long time" Trey said looking up from his game of ping pong

"sorry I had a lot on my mind" I said looking off to the side "but then Sora and I had some girl talk" I said smiling

"huh?" he said only to be hit in the face by the ping pong ball

"Girl Talk what kind of girl talk?" Rio asked and I looked confused as to why he was practically freaking out

"uh just trying to sort out how to train again you know the usual" I said smiling as I rubbed the back of my head

"t-training that's not girl talk!" Rio yelled and I looked confused again

"Then what is girl talk?" I asked tilting my head

"well I'm not a girl so I wouldn't know all the details but normally girls talk about boys and clothes and stuff like that" Rio said smiling

"why would they do that" I said tilting my head the other way "I mean such things are unimportant to fighting why would anyone waste their time sitting around giggling over a boy?"

"never mind" Rio said looking defeated

"you got to keep in mind that the only real girl time Yuki's had is with Anna and that's not much of real girl time" Yoh said smiling as he was sitting of a massage chair

"good point" Trey said and I sighed as I looked out the window as a worried look crossed my face.

"we came here to relax so stop looking all worried" Len said leaning on the wall beside me and I smiled at him

"I thank you for worrying about me Len but I'm fine" I said smiling

"who said anything about being worried about you" Len said and I smiling

"don't worry I'm sure it was just the hot water warming up your cold blood" I said smiling "if you all don't mind I think I'm going to go to sleep now" I said walking away since I had a separate room from the boys.

But then later that night

"Yuki" I heard someone say causing me to wake up and I saw Yoh standing there

"what is it Yoh" I asked sleepily "can't it wait till morning"

"Yuki why don't you and I go on a walk" Yoh said and I sat up and grabbed his hair only to have the Yoh standing before me turn in to a spirit

"go away spirit I need sleep I haven't had very much of it lately." I said calmly "forgive me if I seem rude but I do need some sleep" I said laying back down "good night" I said falling back asleep as the spirit left my room.

But then even later that night

"Yuki" I heard Yoh say and I grabbed his hair and pulled on it "that kind of hurts ya know"

"so tired wanted to make sure you weren't the spirit again" I said with a yawn about to fall asleep again and Yoh smiled

"sorry we were just looking for Lyserg have you seen him" Yoh asked

"no sorry brother" I said closing my eyes "so sleepy" I said with a yawn as I fell asleep

In the morning the boys informed me that the chameleon ghost that had visited me the night before as Yoh was actually sharona of the lily five's spirit guardian ghost that was stoLen from her by an old 'friend' from the past. But the most hysterical part of the night had come from Yoh as the thief had the spirit look like Anna and Yoh basically bossed her around there for living a dream which would never come true.
