"how much longer we going to wait for billy" Trey asked as we all stood at a side of a road

"I say we all just walk for a while, none of us know the expense for gas here let along just how much we may have taken from him just by him giving us rides. Rio put the thumb down Billy probably just needs time to refill his tank and other things before he heads out again to find us and help us out ok" I said smiling

"you're probably right Yuki" Rio said smiling

"Finally he listens" Trey said over exaggerating a bit and we all started in to the forest

"I know if you're so determined let's give billy ten more minutes to show up if he doesn't we'll head out on foot ok" I said smiling and Rio nodded holding out his big over soul thumb with pride again and I smiled nervously at the sight

Ten minutes later it was now dark out and we were walking down the road

"I can't believe he didn't come" Rio said sadly but as he and the others went on talking I just stared up at the stars

"beautiful" I whispered with a smile but then a pair of headlights could be seen and as the vehicle slowed down Rio ran up thinking it was billy only to find an elderly couple who eventually offered us a ride and some shelter

Soon we reached the town of Hocuspoc, U.S. a rather funny name if you think about it but oh well

Later at the elderly couple's house we were well fed and welcomed

"oh dear you must have such a hard time being the only girl amongst all these boys" the woman said and I smiled

"not to worry they're all my friends and one's my brother" I said smiling "they take care of me and I take care of them"

"well alright but they seem to have a bit of a soft side for ya don't they" she said smiling since I was helping her with the dishes

"I don't know, Rio's always been a flirt around girls and Trey well he's a bit of a goof ball, lyserg's the newest addition to our group but he has a long ways to go when it comes to learning about having fun, Yoh's my brother so he's got to have a soft side for me he is only a few moments older than me after all. Then there's Len he's a bit cold at first but once you get passed that"

"he's like a big old teddy bear right?" granny asked and I nodded with a faint blush on my face that I didn't notice till I looked at the window above the sink and I looked surprised before shock my head and the blush faded

"Do you need any help with anything else I could help you prepare the guest room if you like" I asked smiling at granny

"oh dear that would be delightful" she said smiling so soon she and I went up stairs and set up a room for the boys and a room for me when we were done I stopped and looked out the window

"it's a shame this place is so run down" I said with a saddened look on my face "and it's a shame you spirits don't get very many visitors" I said smiling back at granny who smiled back

"I see you saw threw our little rouse" she said smiling and I smiled back

"there's no harm in spirits wanting a little fun every now and again" I said happily and granny smiled back and she even hugged me

"your such a sweet girl" she said and I hugged her back "in a way you remind me of my granddaughter but she moved away long ago and has likely passed on as well"

"then maybe one day you'll meet her again" I said smiling and she smiled back at me

"sleep well deary" she said and I nodded before I fell in to a deep sleep. Or so I would have hoped.

~in my dream~

'no' I thought as I ran away from the walking dead of the human kind

"Help us please" the horse and decaying voices moaned "help us" they said as they chased me then a dismembered arm tripped me and the heard of dead piled over me burying me in rotting flesh and decay.

"NO!" I yelled seemingly waking up only to see I was outside beside my brother in the middle of the night

"have a bad dream" a familiar voice said and I turned to see what I thought was my brother was actually

"Zeke" I said trying to back away but the spirit of fire appeared behind me trapping me "what do you want"

"join me" Zeke said

"I've already told you NO" I yelled as I looked down at the ground "I can't allow you to kill all those people"

"and why not all they've done is look down at you and punish you for being different for being better, they look down at us, beat us, hurt us physically and emotionally, calling us names and other things" Zeke said with anger on his face

"I follow my laws" I said as I hugged my knees "I promised myself I'd always follow my laws"

"your laws? Who dares control you? You are a shaman you fallow no laws but your own the ones you make" Zeke said

"but they are the ones I made" I yelled "I made three laws that I have followed since I was younger 1: protect my family, 2 protect my friends and 3: never take the life of another living being unless there is absolutely no other option."

"I see" Zeke said with a calm look then he walked over to me and hugged me "no wonder they call you the protector with laws like that" he whispered in my ear "then this meeting is pointless you should just wake up" he said

~end dream~

"huh" I said jolting up and looking around as if to reassure myself that Zeke wasn't there. He wasn't thankfully but it was still the middle of the night but I couldn't fall asleep. Not after that so I sat in the window sill with a worried look on my face.

But then well passed noon I continued to sit there until I felt something

"no" I said jumping out the window to where the others were "Stop it Zeke leave them alone" I yelled for the whole town was basically a game that some forest spirits were having and no doubt the others were having fun as well but now that Zeke was there he was feeding the forest spirits to his spirit of fire "Sora in to the gloves"

"Right" Sora said as we performed spirit control "he's messed with the wrong people" Sora said and I nodded

"Sacred lightning" I said punching the ground sending lightning that mimic the movements of a snake until it reached it target and then they burst up from the ground striking the spirit of fire

"hn you've gotten stronger than last time little Yuki but not strong enough just yet." Zeke said smirking as he burned some of the spirits and I could hear their cries as I fell to my knees in pain

"STOP IT!" I yelled it hurt so much and I didn't understand why

"you see even I know your weaknesses little Yuki it's time you learned them as well" Zeke said then he looked at Yoh "and Yoh your too laid back it's time someone put a fire under you" but then I passed out from the mysteRious pain so I missed half of what happened next

Later at sunset

"wh-what happened?" I asked as I started to wake up

"hey you're awake" Trey said happily and I stared at the sky

"what was that" I said as I thought back to the fight, "why was it that when he attacked the spirits I felt their pain so fully that it" I started

"don't worry Yuki we'll help you figure things out together ok" Yoh said sitting beside me and I nodded as I cuddled up to my brother and fell back asleep

"you're kidding me didn't she just wake up" Trey yelled

"quite down you noisy buffoon" Len said
