*few years before anything*
I was sitting at home on my phone looking through Instagram and texting some if my friends, suddenly I heard my mom call out.
"Madison! Come on let's go get that pizza" she yelled to me
"Alright, I'm coming" I said getting up
I got my black converse on and got into car. My brother got into the backseat right behind my mom. I turned on the radio "Miss Jackson" by Panic! At The Disco came on me, my brother, and my mom all sang along we all were big Panic! Fans, well were pretty much fans of a lot of bands.
"Wow Madison, you're getting really good at singing" my brother said smiling at me
"Yeah you really are" my mom said also smiling
"Aww thanks guys" I said looking at both of them and giggling
We soon got to the pizza shop and waited in line to get our pizza. We soon got it and paid for it I got a piece of it out of the box when we got to the car and ate it. As we drove back to the house I took the AUX and put it in my phone. I looked through my playlist on my phone and found "House Of Gold" by Twenty One Pilots. My mom looked over at me for a few seconds before my brother yelled at the top of his lungs my mon looked forward so did I we both yelled.
*crash*
I woke up in the hospital not remembering what happened I clicked my button in the side of my bed to call In a nurse, a nurse soon walked into the room.
"What happened" I said looking over at the nurse
"You and your family got into a car crash, a drunk driver hit your moms side of the car. your brother and mom are in really bad condition. But lucky or you nothing really happened to you... But your brother and mom may die which is the bad news." The nurse said sitting beside me
"Oh..." I said tearing up a little
*2 weeks later*
I spent 2 weeks at my aunts house cause my mom and brother were in the hospital still. I would cry myself to sleep and then when I went to school all that happened was I was bullied so that didn't help my situation at all. I got home from school one day and heard my aunt on the phone
"Oh... Well I guess I'll tell her" my aunt said
She walked out of the kitchen in tears and told me the news
"Your mom... And brother... Died today..." She said crying
I put my backpack down and ran upstairs and into my room. My aunt followed behind me
"Aunt Megan, would you take me in and take care of me" I asked crying too
"I can't... I don't have the money, you're gonna have to be... Well in a foster home for awhile" she said
I told her to leave me alone for awhile I cried myself to sleep that night.
Little did I know this was the beginning of something new
