Chapter 5: Out To Eat

As we got into the car and Brendon turned on the radio and "Don't Threaten Me With A Good Time" Came on and we both sang along.

"Champagne, cocaine, gasoline
And most things in between
I roam the city in a shopping cart
A pack of camels and a smoke alarm

This night is heating up
Raise hell and turn it up
Saying "If you go out you might pass out in a drain pipe"
Oh yeah, don't threaten me with a good time" we sang along to the song in unison which was funny

As the song ended we pulled up at a Apple Bee's

"Is this ok?" he asked looking at me
"Yeah" I said as i looked back at him

we got into the restaurant and we got a small booth for only 2 people

"So I have a question for you" i said to Brendon
"Yeah?" he asked
"So, why exactly did you decide to adopt?" i asked
"Well Sarah left me if you didn't know that, we're still good friends. But when she left me it was getting lonely around the house all I had was Penny and Bogart, so i decided to get someone to keep me company and i guess that company was you" he said smiling at the last part
"Oh, i'm sorry you got lonely" i said looking down at my hands
"Its fine, i'm better cause i got you" he said smiling again

I smiled at the comment he made, we both ordered some drinks I got sweet tea and he got a strawberry lemonade. we soon got the drinks and the waiter noticed Brendon and she flipped out
he just laughed at her when she flipped. We ordered our food after Brendon signed something for her he got ribs and I got a steak we both at and talked a lot and it turns out we both had a lot in common. We both could play a lot of instruments since my whole life is around music and he started to compliment me on how good I was at singing and ukulele, I'm complimented him on a lot I stuff too.  We got done eating and we got back into the car and went home.
