It was the beginning of Bailey's sophomore year in college. She couldn't wait to see her best friend Tanner, when she reached the dorms again. All through freshman year, her and Tanner had grown so close that they were pretty much inseparable. It was as if they had been best friends since they were little. Whatever Tanner did, Bailey did too. He was like the Lucas to her Haley, if we were talking One Tree Hill.
Bailey arrived back at the dorms around ten in the morning, and when she opened the door to her room, the first thing she noticed was all of the roses. They were literally everywhere. Roses sat on her desk, her dresser, and even around her bed. Rose petals laid all over the floor, and she gasped in shock when Tanner walked out of her closet with a bouquet of white roses in his hand.
"Hey, Bails." He smiled at her, and she continued to stare in shock at all of the roses.
"Tanner, what is all of this?" She asked, and his smile grew wider as he handed her the white roses.
"Bails, we have known each other for a year or so now, and we are best friends, you know." She nodded, and he intertwined her empty hand with his.
