After Thor got his breathing under control, Hestia calmed everyone enough to hold a meeting. "She has to be in a cave because if you looked closely you could see bat droppings and a dead bat or two", said Athena with a shudder. Some of them got a luck on their face like they were trying to remember the surroundings and eventually nodded. "So that tells us that she's in a cave somewhere but where", said Tony. Zeus thought for a second before he summoned Nico Di Angelo. Nico looked around confused and then bowed before the gods."We need to know if you can help track Persephone at all", said Poseidon. Nico thought for a moment and then shadow traveled away. Zeus looked mad but that quickly vanished when Nico came back with a hellhound. "Mrs. O'Leary is her hellhound if anyone can find Persephone it's her", Nico explained. "Mrs. O'Leary find Percy", Nico said to her. Mrs. O'Leary barked then head-butted Nico. He barely grabbed on before they disappeared.

They waited for what seemed like hours before they came back. While Mrs. O'Leary seemed to be fine Nico was a sight for sore eyes. He looked around relieved before picking something.... no someone off of Mrs. O'Leary's back. But before he could take two steps he fell down. That's when they saw a knife sticking in his back. Apollo and Hades hurried over to him. When Apollo was sure Nico was going to be ok he looked at the girl and flipped her over with a gasp.
