Nina's POV
Fabian guided me towards the beach and as we made our way to the sand I rested my head on his shoulder and swung our hands back-and-forth...
We sat down not too far away from the water and I sat in between Fabian's legs while he played with me hands and fingers
"So how come you wanted to take me out?" I asked, looking at the ocean
"Can a guy just not take his girlfriend out?" Fabian replied
"Yes, but you didn't answer my question, Rutter" I said
"Well I was bored. Eddie told me you were bored. So, ta da!" Fabian laughed
I smiled up at him admiring his beautiful face before turning back to the ocean. The sun was close to setting and the sky was a warm orange colour...
"How do you feel about meeting my parents?" Fabian asked, playing with my hair
"I don't know. It's going to be weird but I'll give it my best shot!" I sighed happily
"Yeah, you better. My parents are very...particular about the girls I date" Fabian replied
"What'd you mean?" I asked nervously
"They've always disliked the girls I bring home. They go on about how the girl I'm dating is just using me, or 'that girl looks like a slut, she just wants you for sex' and stuff like that..." Fabian huffed
"Oh"
"But don't worry. The only time I've believed them is when a girl I was dating actually was cheating on me. But I trust you." Fabian whispered into my ear
I shivered and blushed in response...
"I trust you too" I smiled up at him
"Good" Fabian kissed my forehead and wrapped his arms around my shoulders. I rested my hands on his forearms and we swayed back and forth and just watched the sunset until it got dark...
