Chapter 12

Lisa
As I pull into the underground parking lot I hop out of my car and grab my purse and then walk towards the elevator when a hood is thrown over my head
"Justin know it off" I giggle knowing Justin is only trying to freak me out
The person then grabs me by the shoulder and drags me
"Justin this isn't funny anymore your hurting me" I wimper
"Hush" a angry voice snaps
The person wraps there arm around my waist and lifts me up and steps up then shuves me down. I hear a engine start up and the door slams after about 10 mins the hood is removed reveling a man in a mask he presses a cloth on to my mouth
"What is" I start to ask but before I can finish I fade
When I come to I'm sitting in a chair my mouth taped and my arms taped to the chair. I hear a lady crying.
What is happening what is this place and why was I grabbed I think. I hear the click of heels and in walks in Val. Justin's mother her eyes are blood shot and she looks pissed
"I'm not going to hurt you" she tells me and then takes the tape off my mouth and my wrists
"I'm sorry are you hurt?" She asks
"I'm fine"
"The reason why you are here is because I need you to promise that you will stay away from Justin"
"Sorry no can do"
"Can and will or I can't let you go you must promise"
"You could but you don't want to" I snap back
"May I ask a question?" I ask her even tho that is a question in its self
"Yes"
"Why do you hate me"
"I don't hate you I hate your mother I know I thretened to kill you but I would never do that"
"What did my mother do to you?"
"I'm talking about your biological mother and my husband was always with her I believe you are there love child I think you and Justin are brother and sister"
"OH MY GOSH I think I'm going to be sick" I say and proceed to throw up on the floor
After I puke I look up at her i just don't understand.
"You said you think I'm his child did it ever cross your mind to you know maybe ask him?"
"I did when I first came into the info I asked him I you were his child and he said no and how could I think that he would never cheer on me blab blab blab but I just know"
"Did you ever happen to you know ask my mother my biological mother?"
"No why would I?" She asks appalled
"Um because if she were sleeping with vic you would know if you had simply asked her I wouldn't be here right now"
"How would I do that?"
"I don't know by going to her house and what is my mother's name" I ask wanting to know
"Her name is Jennifer and I think I will do just that but only if you are there"
"OK but please me call Justin he is probably worried I'm really late for work he is gonna have every cop out looking for me if i don't call him"
"Ok go ahead"
"We have your so tell him your sick or something"
"I'm going to be honest with him"
"Your what?" She screeches
"Don't worry I'm only going to tell him that I'm with you not that you had me kidnapped so chill"
I tell her and grab my purse and pull out my phone I see that I have 15 calls and 10 texts, 1 from Becka saying her mom is sick and needs to go to glasscow (I'm not sure if that's how you spell it)
I call Justin back
"Lisa were are you are you safe?"
"Justin calm down breath thru your nose out your mouth better now?"
"Yes now we're are you?" He demands
"I'm with your mother"
"Your what?"
"You and her are alot alike don't worry I'm fine. But we need to do something will you do me a deed?"
"Anything" he pledges
"Well first don't ever pledge your life into someone's hands and second I need you to go and get angle, Becka has to go outta town for a while and I'm heading to Yorkshire"
"What are you heading to Yorkshire?"
"I'll explain when I get back tonight now I have to go talk to you later bye"
"Ok bye love you" he says and I hang up my tummy a little sick again
We get into my car and start driving while on our way there we decided that I will go in and Val will stay out Val said it will be bonding and she don't think she will be able to do it with me.
When we arrive I pull up to the curb and hop out, I walk up to the house and knock on the door Val said this is the last and only address she has for Jennifer
"Hello?" A beautiful middle aged lady anwsers
"Hi are you Jennifer Barlow?"
"Yes that is me who are you?"
"I'm Lisa Jenkins Carter" I say hopping my name will get me entry
"Come in come in" she ushers me into the house
"Please sit" she indicateds to the couch "would you like tea?"
She asks
"Yes that would be nice my throat is a bit parched" I answer and she turns around an walks out of the room quickly I take this time to look around the room
After a little while Jennifer comes back in with tea cups and hands me one
"Is your father alright?"
"So he is my father" I ask anxiously and very sad
"What I assume so you said Jenkins then Carter" Ignoring what she says I say
"I was a adopted you are my bio mother I was wondering if Victor is my father also"
"Why would you want to know that?"Sha asks suspiciously
"Well you see I was married to his son Justin but when we were 2 years married he demanded a divorce he did it because his mother Val thinks you are my mother and she says that Victor is my father which I'm really hoping he isn't because he and I are engaged again and we really love each other" I tell her
"Oh my" she says and puts her hand again her mouth
"Victor is not your father your father died in a car accident that we were all involved in he died I was injured and was in depression so that's when a young couple my age came in and adopted you I wanted you to have a caring an loving family. The woman said she was pregnant with a baby girl and lost it and she would care for you and love you like her own"
"Ha love me like her own" I snort in lady like
"What does that mean?"
"It means unless I was a perfect child she made it known that I was hated by her she wanted me to go to college in the states I didn't go she hated me I got married she loved me I got divorced she hasn't talked to me since"
"I am so sorry if it matters any I did try to find you to get you back but by the time I did you were 9 and you mother said she would sue me for everything I had if I contacted any of you again so I left it be I always thought of you everyday I love you very much"
We talk for a long while until my phone goes off and I see it's Val I ignore it but then see the time it's already 5:30 I need to get back soon
"Jennifer I'm sorry I have enjoyed today but I have to go it's getting late"
"You could stay here" she offers
"I'm really sorry but I really have to go Justin is watching my daughter"
"You have a daughter that means I'm a a I'm a grandma" she says crying
"Yes that is correct"
"Can I meet her sometime?"
"Yes um how about you come with me?"
"Really"
"Yes really" I tell her
She runs out of the room and starts packing
"Umm don't pack to much we will go shopping"
"No need" she answers
"There is a need for me I want to for all the shopping i didn't get too with you I want to I want it to be a mother daughter day with you and me and my daughter" I tell her
"Ok let's go"she says
"One thing um Val is here to"
"You said that already let's go"
I smile I am alot like my mom. Mom that is something weird to say my adoptive mother never let me call her that always Mrs.carter or Sally I feel happy I am glad that my daughter will have a real grandma and I'm happy that I will have a real mother to spoil and spend time with.

I know it's been a while I've been studying for a biology test. I will try to update again this week.
