A few weeks later
"Hey!" Nida said excited.
"Hi," I said.
"Dude! Let me see your hand!" Piyal said walking in.
"Hey! I wanna see first!" Nida said.
"I wanna see as well!" Ariah said.
What the hell was going on?
"My hand?" I asked.
"Come on! We aren't stupid, Atif got engaged and we know it has to be you," Nida said.
My heart shattered to a million pieces. He got engaged?!
"Ati...he...engaged..you have to be joking,"I said.
They all looked at me shocked.
"You are the one that should know," Ariah said.
"He didn't get engaged to me,"I said.
"Are you joking?" Piyal asked.
"No,"I said my voice cracking.
"I have to see him,"I said and called him over.
All the girls left since they thought we needed some alone time.
"Hey," he said walking in since I had the door open.
I closed it right when he walked in.
"You got engaged?"I asked Atif.
He looked at me surprised.
"How..uumm who told you?"He asked.
"So it's true?"I asked.
He nodded.
"How could you do this? I trusted you!" I yelled at him.
He didn't say anything.
"I'll never be able to trust anyone again and it's your fault Atif!!" I said on the verge of tears.
"Just leave!" I said getting frustrated and he did.
Not once stopping to defend anything, not himself, not trust and not even our friendship. Absolutely nothing!
