"Mira, come here please. To see you someone wishes. Yes, hmmm." Yoda came into mine and Ejiksega's room that we shared, and Ejiksega looked at me.

"Go ahead. I'll go see Cunee and Owec." She smiled.

I got up and followed the 900 year old master. "Did I do something wrong master?" I asked worried.

"Nothing wrong, you did. Be honored, you should. "

"What for?"

"Chosen you to be his padawan, a master has. Continue your training, will he, and help you, he will. "

"A... Padawan?" I stopped.

Yoda stopped and looked at me.

"Why me? Why not the others? I'm not old enough to be a padawan."

"You are old enough to have a lightsaber or have gone through the gathering either not. Strong with the force, you are, Mira. Stronger than most. Along, now come. Waiting, he is waiting. Yes, hmmm." He continued and I followed the small Jedi.

In the main hall, a tall man stood waiting, having dirty blond hair as he scratched his scruff of a beard. His lightsaber was hidden by the obviously new Jedi robe.

I stopped nervous, before he noticed me. "It's alright. I'm not gonna hurt you." He walked over and kneeled down to my height. "I'm Aslan Monjarby."

"Your new master, Master Monjarby is.  He, your teacher, will be." Yoda nodded.

"May I know your name?"

"Mira." I stuttered an mumbled.

"Mira. What a beautiful name." He smiled softly.

"T-thank you..." I gave a small smile back.

"Let you two get acquainted, I will.  Go to Kashyyyk to help the wookies, I must.  Hmmmmmm."

Master Monjarby and I watched as the little green jedi left.

"Master?" I asked, looking at him, "Why pick me? Owec, Cunee, Ejiksega would make better padawans."

"Because they are older than you?"

I nodded.

"Well... Walk with me." He stood up, and started walking out towards the garden.

I ran after him, about to his waist in height.

"Let's see. Why did I pick you?" He folded his arm, and put his right elbow on his left hand, tapping his lip with his right pointer finger.

I waited for an answer, while watching him while we walked.

"Let's see now. You're smart. Top of your class. You're cute." He rubbed my hair, making me giggle and it poofing a bit. "You're young. I love kids. Um.... You're unique. Everytime I passed you in the hallway, you always would have a smile on your face. You can make the sternest jedi laugh. Did I mention that you are cute?"

"Yes!" I giggled, opening up a bit more to him.

He chuckled. "I guess I did. And also, I see a lot of potential in you. And a lot of me."

"Really?"

"Really really." He smiled and stopped below a tree with pink petals falling. "I'd rather you think me of a friend than a master. Ok?"

I stopped and looked at him, nodding.

He bent down and scooped me up. "Now give me a hug you!" He laughed.

I giggled and did. He was very lighthearted and happy.

"ASLAN?!" There was a shout and Master Monjarby froze.

"Hide." He whispered, and we dove behind some bushes.

An elderly woman with fading blond hair in a jedi robe stormed into the garden, "Now where could that old padawan be?" She mumbled to herself before storming back into the temple."

"Who's she?" I asked him.

"My old master. She's really strict. No fun allowed strict." He sighed and got up.

"Oh. Why is she mad at you?"

"Probably for not telling her that I got a padawan." He chuckled. "We better go introduce you to her, or she'll never calm down."

We walked in and found her. "Master Jhianna, this is my new padawan, Mira."

"Padawan? She's a youngling."

"Was a youngling."

"Master Yoda cannot agree to bringing a child this young out into the field!"

"He did. She is the top of her class. She's faster, smart, strong."

"I can take care of myself." I spoke out.

"That I don't believe. You're four years old. Far too young."

The old jedi stormed away.

"You did good with her." Monjarby let out a breath of relief. "Sorry. She's from Mandalore. Doesn't believe we should even be having this war anyways... Nor do I, but she... She is very pacifist."

"Where did you come from?" I asked, curious.

"Swoth."

"Swoth?" I tilted my head confused.

"It's a jungle planet far out in the outer rim."

"Oh." I looked down.

"Do you know where you came from?"

"No." I sighed and sat on one of the benches, looking out the tall window.

He thought for a second, before sitting next to me. "How about I make you a deal. When this war is done, or if it keeps going, you and I go on a mission to find where you came from. How does that sound?"

"You'll do that for me?" I looked at him, and he nodded.

"Of course I would. Anything for my buddy." He smiled and I hugged him before he hugged me back. "Now go get some rest."

I nodded and went back to mine and Ejiksega's room. "Ejik! Ejik!" I shouted and jumped onto her as she slept in her bed, jolting her awake.

"Mira, what's going on?" She yawned.

"I was chosen! I'm a padawan!" I giggled.

"A padawan?" She grinned, before her smile turned to a small frown. "You know that means that not only we wouldn't share rooms anymore, but we also won't have lessons anymore."

"W-what?" I stopped jumping and my eyes filled with tears.

"I can still see you, but not as much. I'll always see you as my little sister." She smiled softly and hugged me tightly.

"Even though Jedi aren't supposed to have attachments?"

"Even though Jedi aren't supposed to have attachments." She nodded. "Want me to braid your padawan braid?"

"Yes!" I smiled.

She grabbed a clump of my green hair, before remembering something. "Let's do it with your gold hair."

I nodded and watched her gather every strand of my golden hair that hid under my green and braid it into a padawan braid.

We both smiled at each other, and curled up. I dozed off in her arms, completely exhausted after my very eventful day.
