"Are you sure you have to leave?" Zart was messaging me as I flew the pod towards Florrum for my yearly reunion with my old Jedi class. "Gor is just loving it here on Hoth, being home in the snow and all. It is adorable." I could see Gor running around behind Z, as he kept grabbing snow and throwing it up and rolling around in it.

"I can tell it is cute. But I have to go visit them otherwise Ejiksega will tear apart the universe looking for me. Get some pictures for me?"

"You bet. Just be safe ok?" He smiled softly.

"I will."

He smiled and hung up. I landed the pod on Florrum and strolled into the pub where we were meeting.

"Mira!" Cunee waved me over, smiling.

"Hey Cunee. Are Owec and Ejik here yet?" I sat down next to him.

"Not yet. They're almost here though."

"So how have you been?" I ordered a water glass.

"Busy. I left the pirates, so I could focus more on finding other jedi or other old friends." He drank his drink. "And I heard about the Death Star."

"It was... Terrifying. Very terrifying." I sighed.

"Wait, you were there?"

"Yeah. I was." I sighed. "I'll tell you all what happened when they arrive."

He nodded.

We waited before Ejik and Cunee wandered on in, and as we smiled.

"Mira!" Ejik tackled me happily.

I laughed and hugged her tightly. "I can see you missed me."

"You missed me too right?"

"Yes I did." I chuckled.

"So, tell me everything!" She sat in a booth as I sat next to her and we laughed.

"Alright alright." I started telling them about the Death Star and training Zart.

"Wow!" And how is that?!"

"He likes it and is a good student, but it is weird teaching him when I used to be the student myself not too long ago. And that he is one year older than me."

"I ship it." Ejik grinned.

"What?" I looked at her confused as Owec and Cunee snorted and water came out of their nostrils. "What ship are you talking about?"

"You... Don't want to know." Owec chuckled, as he tried to stop.

"Ok... But what it has to do with ships?"

"Just... Stop." Cunee covered his mouth as he laughed.

I was so confused, but I stayed quiet.

I listened to them as they talked and shared adventures. Finishing my water, I smiled tiredly. It had been a couple of long days.

I leaned against Ejiksega and slowly dozed off tiredly.

Ejik giggled and held me gently.

"She is so tired." Cunee smiled.

"Let her get some well deserved rest." Owec smiled as the three of them relaxed.

"So, why shouldn't we join her and her crew and fight the Empire. We have hidden for long enough." Cunee soon broke the silence of their booth.

"We can't. If too many Jedi reemerge at once, it could execute Order 66 again, and those who did survive like us, might not."

"Oh... But what if we don't be Jedi, what if we were scavengers or something who want to help?"

"Cunee, you are the only one with that type of experience, with having been a pirate. " Ejiksega sighed and stroked my hair gently.

A few hours later, I woke up, and stretched.

"Bout time you woke cutie."

"Please don't call me cutie." I rubbed my face. "What time is it?"

"It's nearly midnight."

"I probably should head back to my crew."

"Yeah, you should. Tell everyone hi for us. Especially your padawan." Owec smiled.

"Padawan... But I am not a master. I am just a knight! Not even that entirely..." I frowned, deep in thought.

"You are in our books Mi. And in the universe's for all we know."

I smiled softly. "Thanks guys, it means a lot."

"You better go." Ejik hugged me tightly, and pulled the boys into the hug.

I hugged them all, and smiled, holding back tears of joy.

"Thank you guys for coming." Owec smiled as we soon let go.

"Of course. Once a family, always a family." Cunee grinned, as we smiled happily at each other, "Even if not by blood."

"Especially if not by blood. Because then what can we fight over?" I laughed.

They started laughing as we said our farewells.

I headed to my pod and started it up, calling up Z but not getting a response.

"They must be in battle. I hope they're ok. I better hurry back."

I put in the coordinates needed, and prepared to jump to hyperspace before he called me back. "Don't come to Hoth. We are evacuating."

"What? Z? Why are you evacuating?"

"The Empire found us and is tearing apart the base. Meet us at Jesmonoe."

"Alright. I'll be there."
