Rogue's POV

I looked around as everyone was talking. We decided the group to go find Andrea would be me, Frosch, Drago, and Samantha. Yukino was staying here under request from Sting. I bet everyone knows they're dating by now. Even if they don't realise it themselves, they are.

An hour or do ago, Lector flew back. He flopped into Sting's arm, asking why he was left alone. He must not remember anything, so we wouldn't ask him about it. Mainly because Sting doesn't want Lector to remember for some reason.

"If you are done complaining, I'm going to start walking." I said as Sting finished talking to Samantha.

"Yeah. We'll be back." Samantha said before jogging to my side.

"Where we going?" Frosch asked.

"This way." Drago said as he began flying towards where we needed to go. "We need to hurry. Andrea might've already been sent somewhere else."

"Go!" Frosch giggled.

I nodded and looked at Samantha. "How long do you think it will take us?"

"Judging from how tired Drago and Frosch were, maybe a day or less. Twelve hours minimum." She said, looking around.

I nodded. "Then let's try for eleven hours."

"I thought you said you didn't like teleporting." Samantha smiled lightly.

"I don't." I said bluntly.

Andrea's POV

"Faster, Ara!" Iruka snapped.

He had decided on calling me Ara because he could yell it easier. He was making me to through this obstacle course thing. I had to dodge his kunai and stab targets with my own. He said this was part of testing me. I think he's just tiring me out.

"And..DONE!" He shouted as I ran in front of him.

I stopped and put my hands on my head. I heard it helped you breath easier, and it did help a lot.

"Now, follow me. You're ready for some basic ninjitsu." He turned on his heel and began walking.

I followed behind him, running my hands through my hair. I needed to wash it at some point.

"Do you know what chakra is?"

I looked up and saw him looking at me, his eyes looked kinder than how they were during training. "No sensei."

He nodded and he muttered something to himself. "Well, chakra is something that ninja use to perform jutsu. It is a combination of physical and mental energy. There's also hand signs that control your chakra. If you get everything right, you can perform any basic jutsu."

I nodded as I looked at the ground. What if I couldn't because I'm not from here?

"I have some scrolls you can study with later of you want." Iruka said.

"A-Arigatou gozaimasu." I said slowly, not knowing what else to say.

"So, The Hokage said you have to memory of anything." Iruka said slowly, looking down at me. "Not to be rude, but what is that like?"

On the outside I was thinking and staying calm, on the inside I was panicking. I had no clue what it was like, obviously! So maybe I should just make something up that seemed believable? Not like he would know if I was lying or not. ....Right?

"Well, it's hard to explain. I don't think it feels any different. I mean, my personality is still here and everything. Just not simple things like what my name is. That's just information that's not there. Like I haven't learned it yet so I can only guess."

I looked at Iruka who was looking ahead and nodding. "That makes sense. Being a teacher, I can understand that."

I didn't mean for that to work out so well, but great! I'm not going to complain!

"Well, here we are. This open field should be good." Iruka moved a bit faster and I slowed down as he turned around, facing me. "Now, there are different hand signs.  They will all be in a scroll I'll give you. But you only need to know three. Watch my hands." He started to make four signs and said their names as well. "Hitsuji...Mi...Tora." Then three more of him appeared in puffs of smoke.

"Wow!" I said in surprise. They were like illusions. They had no shadows and the grass didn't move underneath their feet.

"Ram, snake and tiger." Iruka said as his three clones disappeared. "They make the Clone Jutsu." He walked towards me and did the first sign, Hitsuji. "Left thumb on top." He corrected as I fixed my hands. "Good. Mi."

I moved my hands again to do the snake which looked like he just entwined his fingers. "Left thumb on the outside." He said.

I nodded. "How fast am I expected to do these symbols?" I asked as he said to do Tora.

"Most academy graduates can do it without even thinking. They can't graduate without knowing this jutsu and a few more. Both of your thumbs are straight up." He added.

I nodded as I corrected myself. I looked at him and h nodded. "Good. Now try faster."

I did it a bit faster, trying to remember how to do each one correctly.

"Good. No focus your chakra on making one clone appear."

The training went on like that until it started to get dark. We didn't mind. We probably would've continued until I was able to do it quickly and summon three clones but Sakura came and said it was time to go. I was apparently going to stay at her house.

I said my goodbye to Iruka and thanked him. It was actually a lot of fun.

"So, you were learning the Clone Technique?" Sakura asked.

I nodded. "I can summon one good one." I said, quite proud of myself.

"Good. Nothing strange happened?"

I nodded, understanding what she meant. "Nothing. Iruka did comment on how it seemed I had wonderful control of my chakra. You think my magic energy and chakra are the same thing?"

Sakura tilted her had a bit in thought. "Maybe. That is a possibility."

"That means I should be able to use everything I learn here back in my world." I said, hoping that was true.

Sakura nodded. "Yeah. We'll talk about it tomorrow. I have a bed already set up for you in my room. If you don't mind."

I nodded. "I don't mind." I smiled.

"My parents are excited to see you but I promised tomorrow morning they could shower you in questions."

I sighed. "Yay. Sounds like fun."
