It's not often that I get super emotional over a video game, no matter the case. I can only think of a few cases that made my heart flutter, whether it be for good or bad, happiness or sadness. I'll list them, it's not many.
Happiness
Defeating Darius Flynt in Forza Horizon
Reuniting with Mario in Luigi's Mansion
Saving Ellie in The Last of Us
Sadness
John Marston's death in Red Dead Redemption
Alan Wake sacrificing himself to save Alice in Alan Wake
Noble 6 sacrificing himself in Halo Reach
Ryan's flashback in Spy Hunter 2
Now, with that being said, you can see I don't get emotional often. But, I just finished playing the game Life is Strange, and I gotta say, it's truly touched me. Every single turn in it played with me somehow. IGN gave it 7/10. I give it a solid 10/10. Square Enix, you pulled off a masterpiece. I definitely rec omens playing it or at least watching a play through on YouTube.
