R: I just meant I love how my coffee break turned into quality time.

D: I'm not actually. But thanks for noticing. It's something about work.
R: What is it? Is he not treating you well? 😠
D: Oh, no no no. It's quite the opposite. My boss, he's really nice.
R: You mentioned. A lot. Starting to think you have a crush on him.
D: What? No. Well, he's really cute and really nice, that's it. Anyway, let's just say that other people keep on trying to put him down. There's plenty of word going around that try to destroy his credibility.
D: And even if he says it does not affect him, I know it does. I can see how lonely he is.
R: Have you tried talking to him?
D: I can't just talk to him, he's my boss.
R: Right. Then, maybe surprise him with something? A favorite snack? Something that reminds him of home, childhood, stuff like that.
D: Hmm, I can try in my own little way, I guess. It just pulls me down, you know.

R: Well, it's almost the same. Criticisms aplenty, almost none is constructive. So, I just keep working hard anyway.
