Chapter 2

Rachel's POV

I ran the whole way to the bus stop, terrified that I would miss it.

Why was Kellin being so nice to me?

I didn't want him asking anymore questions so I just left.

But.. I kinda regret that now.

"Hey freak!" Jay said stopping his car right next to the bus stop.

I crossed my arms and prayed he wouldn't say anything else.

"What? To scared to talk to your bestfriend?" He laughed.

I looked down the road and saw the city bus coming, which made a flood of happiness come through my body.

I had friends on the bus.

"Why don't you ride with me bitch?" Jay said getting out of his car.

I shook my head

He got closer and grabbed my arm, dragging me to his car.

"STOP!" I yelled as the bus pulled up.

He let go and I ran onto the bus sitting down in the front seat.

"Good morning Rachel." The driver said to me.

I lightly smiled.

The whole ride, I kept picturing everything that was gonna happen at school.

It was more like a routine now.

I knew exactly what they would say and do.

I got off the bus and ran to my first class with Jay and his group of friends chasing after me.

Today was the day I wasn't going to let anyone bully me.

I reached my first class and saw a note on the door that read

1st-4th periods

Go to Room B102 to get homework.

I won't be in today. Feel free to go home.

I looked around and realized B102 was clear down the campus.

Shit

I started running again, and by now the boys were close behind me.

I turned around and saw Jay reaching for my shirt when I bumped into somebody.

"Watch where you're going slut." Katelynne said while pushing me back.

"Well you could've moved out of the way. You clearly saw me running." I smarted off while beginning to run again.

Jay and his crew stayed put.

"We'll get you next period emo bitch!" One of them said.

I stopped and began walking.

I decided I was just gonna get my work from all my classes, and skip today.

So that's just what I did.

After getting all my work, I started thinking.

I got out my phone and called Kellin.

"Hello?"

"Hi."

"What's wrong?"

"Oh nothing. Uh.. Are you busy?"

"I'm at the studio. Why?"

"Oh nevermind."

"What do you need?"

"I was gonna ask for a ride home, but that's okay."

"No no! I'll pick you up."

"You sure?"

"Yeah!"

"Okay. I guess I'll see you soon."

"Alrighty Rach."

"Bye."

As soon as I hung up, I decided to go to the student union to wait on Kellin.

They had snack machines, games, couches, pretty much anything relaxing where we could just hang out between classes.

I hadn't been in the union in forever since people bully me all the time.

So it was kinda nice.

I sat down and began reading out of one of my favorite books until I saw Jay walk over.

"You can't get rid of me." He grinned while throwing the book across the room.

"Dude stop!" I said attempting to get up.

He pushed me down and stared into my eyes.

"You're so ugly." He rolled his eyes.

My eyes began to swell up with tears as I chocked out "I know."

"HEY!" I heard someone say while walking over to us.

Kellin.

"Leave her the hell alone." Kellin said while getting closer to Jay.

Jay shrugged. "We're bestfriends. And who the fuck are you?"

"None of your damn business." Kellin said while grabbing my books and looking at me.

Jay kept mumbling things that I couldn't quite understand.

I lifted myself up from the chair and began to walk out with Kellin.

Jay just stood there and stared.

"You okay?" Kellin asked while holding the door open for me.

"For now. But just think about tomorrow. He's gonna kick my ass because of this."

"I won't let that happen."

"You don't go to this college. And you barely even know me." I laughed.

Kellin stopped. "I live with you. I've known you for almost two months and I probably know more about you than you know about yourself."

"Yeah whatever. No one pays attention to me."

"You'd be surprised." Kellin grinned while walking faster ahead of me.

I sighed and followed him.

When we reached his car, I saw Katelynne in the passenger seat.

"U-uhm K-Kellin." I chocked out.

He turned around. "Hm?"

"I-I can't. Why is she-"

"Who Katelynne? My girlfriend?" He asked.

I dropped my book and began running.

She's dating Kellin and Jay.
