For everyone who was asking for heart glue (You know who you are) I hope this works.

Draco had never been more terrified of the Weasley's in his life. Not when Harry had brought him over for dinner, not when they were threating to feed him to the pigs. Not when Mrs Weasley in a fiery battle killed his aunt. No Draco had never felt this scared of them in his life.

He had never been this scared of George even when all his pranks where directed at the Slytherin's, of Ginny even when she was firing a bat bogey hex at him, of Bill with his terrifying scars, of Charlie and his rather intimidating muscles, of Ron and his deep set hatred of him, of Mrs Weasley, of Mr Weasley, of Hermione especially knowing that she had a rather good right hook, of Percy. Sitting in front of them now, with their undivided attention made Draco absolutely terrified.

He had been told it only took 20 seconds of courage to change a life but Draco was not an exceptionally brave person. He was not Harry. The bravest he had ever been was when he defied Voldemort and coincidently won the affections of his boyfriend. It was because of that 20 seconds of bravery that he was now sitting here, in front of the entire Weasley family asking if it would be ok with them if he were to ask Harry to marry him.

Draco had no doubt in his mind that Harry would say yes. Harry loved him and Draco knew this, Harry only told him ten times a day. It was the Weasley's that Draco was worried about, he had always had a bad history with the family and he would not be the cause of a Riff between them and Harry. He couldn't do that to him. So it seemed that the best option was to ask them if it would be okay, because in the end, it was their opinion that mattered the most.

Ron frowned at him, crinkles forming between his eyes. "What are you trying to say?" he asked.

"I was wondering if maybe, you wouldn't mind me becoming a Potter" Draco said. Because that was what he wanted the most in the world. To be a part of Harry's family.

George looked at him with cold eyes, barely containing a glare. Ron crossed his arms and leaned back on the cushion, to Draco that was more menacing than his earlier position (Leaning forward and cracking his knuckles.)

"And why are you asking us" Ginny asked. Out of all the Weasleys she was the one who was the most accepting of his and Harry's relationship, which was amusing due to her history with Harry. Her argument was that it was 'obvious that he had a crush on Malfoy, I'm just glad he finally did something about it, I was growing sick of the constant pining'.

Draco took a deep breath and willed his hands to stop shaking, he should not be this nervous. "Because you're his family and if you don't agree to the marriage he will be heartbroken and I can't do that to him, not to Harry"

"You've done that already, why does it bothered you know?" Ron snapped at him. Ron had always been distrustful of him but Draco had hoped that maybe he would be accepting, even if it was just for his best friend's benefit.

"Because I love him. Because he is my everything. Because I'm sick of being the one who hurts him." Draco said.

Ginny nodded her head and Draco knew that she was on his side. That made him feel better, everybody said that Ginny was the harshest. George look at Ginny and shrugged, his facial expression softening. After Fred died he and Ginny became closer, George missed his brother and Ginny was the one who was there for him the most. Draco thought that their pranking skills were frightening when combined, almost as bad as Fred's when he was alive.

"If she accepts it then I can't argue against it. Ginny's the one who understands Harry the most." George said.

"Hey!" Ron protested. "I'm his best mate"

"I'm sorry. After Ron, Ginny knows him the best" George said. "Happy?"

"Very" Ron growled. Hermione let out a soft laugh and whispered something in Ron's ear. Draco couldn't hear what she was saying but the tension in Ron's shoulders lessened and a blush formed on his cheeks.

Draco had never felt more gratitude towards Ginny and George in his life. If everyone else disagreed at least Draco would always know that there were people out there who could forgive him for his past wrong doings.

"Well, if Ginny and George agree then I can't argue. Anyway, it's really up to us, It's about making Harry happy. Not us." Hermione said, smiling at Draco. Despite their past issues Draco felt like Hermione might be becoming one of his best friends. From the look on Hermione's face he felt like she felt the same way.

Bill, Charlie, Percy and Mr Weasley all nodded their head in agreement with Hermione's statement. None of them really said anything. They had all made a reasonable piece with Draco a long time ago, deciding that holding a grudge against him would be an inconvenience, considering Draco and Harry's relationship status. Anyway, it wasn't really their decision to make. It was about what Harry wanted, not them.

"Well you all know where I stand" Ron said. Hermione elbowed him in the side and gave him a glare. "Oh what do you want me to say? He treated our entire family like crap for years, disrespected everything we stand for and we all know how many times he had broken Harry's heart? I honestly don't want to see this bloody git ruin my best mate so yeah, I don't think him and Harry should marry."

Draco felt every word Ron said. It was like a punch in the gut. Ron had a point, he wasn't a role model citizen and had a bad history with many families. But Draco loved Harry and he would never hurt him on purpose. That is where Ron was wrong.

Everybody turned to Mrs Weasley. Out of all of them, she scared Draco the most because she was Harry's adoptive mum and in the end her opinion mattered the most to Harry. If Mrs Weasley said no then there was no way Draco would argue with her. She was a force to be reckoned with and was very protective of her children.

"You promise not to break his heart?" she said, her facing revealing nothing.

"I would never hurt him on purpose. I wouldn't even consider it" Draco said firmly.

Mrs Weasley nodded. "You realise if you ever decide he's not worth your time you will be dealing with me? He's my son and I will always stand by him" She said.

"I'm aware" Draco said.

A huge smile broke over Mrs Weasley's face, one of the biggest Draco had ever seen on her. "My Harry is getting married!" She beamed. "He's getting married to the man of his dreams!" She stood up and wrapped Draco into a tight hug. "Welcome to the family" she whispered in his ear.

Draco could feel all the fear and tension draining from his body, being replaced with excitement and joy. He was going to ask Harry to marry him. He was going to get married. He was going to spend the rest of his life with Harry.

"Congratulations" Ginny smiled at him.

"Yeah, I can't wait to see what pranks I can pull now that you're a part of the family and I can't get in trouble for it" George said patting him on the back.

Everyone gave him a hug or a pat on the back and Draco didn't have the heart to tell him that it still wasn't definite, he still had to ask Harry, he just hadn't seen the family this excited and happy in a while. So he kept his mouth up and soaked up all the praise and happiness radiating off the people around him. Draco had never felt so a part of a family in his life. Even Ron offered him a handshake. Mrs Weasley was in tears by the end of it and had to escorted out by Mr Weasley.

"Welcome to the family" Hermione said to him as Draco watched the scene unfolding. He had never been happier in his life. He finally had a loving family.

I hope you guys liked this one because I have a few more 'heartbreaking' oneshots sitting in my drafts so hopefully I should have those up soon. Sorry for any mistakes but it's late and I can feel my eyes closing as I write this.
