Now this probably should have been my very first chapter in this book, but oh well! I'm telling you now!

Start a journal. A physical one, not electronic. I mean if you reeeeeeeeeeeally have to do an electronic one then go ahead, no one but you will know anyway.

Your journal can be any size, shape, or color that you want.

This is mine. It is roughly the same size as my phone, so its pretty tiny.

Or even this....

As long as you feel comfortable writing in it then its fine!

Now, on to the challenge part. Carve out 10 minutes of your day EVERYDAY to write in your journal. You can write anything. A joke you heard, a story idea, how you would describe someones hair, names, anything at all. Just be careful to not turn it into a diary.

Don't worry, you'll know if you do.

Now the reason I'm suggesting a journal is because its a great way to store your thoughts and ideas in a way that you can easily look back on. It will also help you get used to writing everyday and the physical action of writing actually helps the creativity of your brain flow more freely.

Remember, at least 10 minutes everyday! Have fun!
