[A Month Later]

Yuki had been more determined than ever to get to Japan. Unbeknownst to her, her parents had looked into the mysterious Shuichi and ended up finding out all sorts of information. Yuki steps off the plane in America where her parents had helped her get a flight to. It was a week and a half before college would start for her. She had a week to get settled. She had a small fire in her heart to find Shuichi during that time. However, she wasn't expecting everything to be so new and confusing. She was no longer thrilled about being there anymore. Yuki didn't understand a thing anyone was saying.

"Oh great." Yuki says with a whine. She squeals as she's shuffled with the foot traffic out of the airport area and into the busy streets. Before Yuki knew it, she was lost and darkness crept on her quickly. She whines as she sat on a bench. She receives a text from Yukiko who was already worried about her. She ignores it before curling into a ball as she held onto her bag tightly.

'Maybe I shouldn't have come... I told mom and dad I would do this on my own without the help of their contacts and I don't want to seem like I am incapable of taking care of myself...' Yuki's thoughts say. She begins crying as everyone passes by her ignoring her.

{Time Skip Sequence is shown as Yuki stood alone with a sad look on her face before the picture flips and Shuichi is shown holding a bag over his shoulder}

About an hour passes and Shuichi heads out for a bite to eat before his shift begins at the bar nearby. He walked towards his usual place to get food and something inside him told him to look across the street as he stood at the crosswalk. He had to do a double take as he saw a white haired girl sitting on the bench near the crosswalk. He wouldn't have noticed it if it weren't for the white hair. Most of the Americans in the area had blonde hair so the white definitely stuck out.

"It can't be." Shuichi whispers to himself. As soon as they get the signal to cross he rushes over to the bench.

"Yuki, is that you?" Shuichi asks in Japanese. The white haired girl looks up at the sound of her name and her eyes meet with familiar green eyes. Realization hit them both and Yuki's eyes filled with happy tears.

"S-Shuichi!" Yuki exclaims in surprise.

"What on earth are you doing here?" Shuichi asks.

"Ah, I said I was going to come to America." Yuki says as she tries to pretend she hadn't been crying. Shuichi could tell that she had been due to the fact that her cheeks and face was puffy.

"Well, yes, but I mean here at this place. Shouldn't you be settling in a hotel your parents set up for you or even your dorm room?" Shuichi asks.

"Uh..." Yuki squeaks out, "I... told them I didn't want them paying for anything. M-More importantly... W-What would be the luck that we see each other again?" Shuichi thinks about it.

"It doesn't normally happen." Shuichi responds. He knew she couldn't have found out anything about him from their meeting so he shouldn't be worried.

"Maybe it's our fate to be friends." Yuki suggests.

"Right. Um, I was about to get something to eat. Why don't you come with me?" Shuichi asks and he slowly takes her bag and sets it over his shoulder.

"Where will we go after that?" Yuki asks.

"Well, I'm the only person you know here, right?" Shuichi asks and Yuki's eyes widen before she nods, "Then let's go."

"Y-You mean home with you?" Yuki asks.

"Just until you can find yourself a place." Shuichi tells her.

"Oh. I see. T-Thank you so much!" Yuki exclaims. Yuki walks beside him as they head to get something to eat from his favorite place.
