[A Few Months Later]

Today, Yuki was out doing her bi-weekly shopping. Subaru carries some things for her. He had his arms full with groceries and a few boxes that Yuki had bought to splurge on herself in terms of outfits. Subaru didn't see the need. She wore his shirt half the time and demanded that he wore it right after it came out of the dryer so it'd smell like him again. She told him it felt like he was hugging her every moment of the day. He told her that he just could, which would solve that problem. She laughed and said it was different and he knew it.

"It's getting pretty late. Ryo should be getting home from school after playing with Conan and the Detective Boys. Do we have everything on the list?" Subaru asks, moving everything to the side so he could see her better and see where he was going.

"I believe so. Let's see..." Yuki states and looks at the shopping list and the bags that they both carried. She glances up and Yuki's eyes widen in shock. A man who looked like Shuichi approaches them and Yuki suddenly screams in shock.

"S-Shu? SHU!" Yuki screams out. She turns in shock. She knew she had to react this way. It had to be one of those bastards from the Black Organization. The man ignores her and keeps walking. Subaru grabs hold of Yuki who wanted to chase after the man.

"SHU!" Yuki yells as tears stream down her face. The man continues walking away and Subaru holds Yuki tightly. Subaru turns Yuki into him so it looked like she was sobbing.

"They've made a move." Yuki whispers silently as she continues to fake sobs. Subaru didn't respond. Subaru watches as the man continues to walk about ten feet before stopping and smirks back at them before walking away. Yuki continues to cry and Subaru's phone rings after Yuki's rings for a good few minutes.

"Ah, hello?" Subaru asks and upon hearing Conan ask about Yuki, he quickly replies, "She's with me. We just saw that man that you kids told us about. The man who looked like her husband. She won't stop crying." Subaru looks at Yuki and soothes down her hair.

"Let's get home." Subaru replies and Yuki pretends to be crying. They get into Subaru's car and once they're driving towards the house and away from any prying eyes. Yuki looks at Subaru.

"I should get an academy award for that show." Yuki states.

"I didn't expect you to respond like that. I thought you were seriously distraught." Subaru replies, "It's not surprising that they're trying to find out the truth."

"Tell me... do you know who Bourbon is?" Yuki asks.

"Only what he goes by to the Organization." Subaru replies.

"The name of Scotch... you told me about it..." Yuki states.

"Hm? The undercover Japanese cop?" Subaru asks.

"Morofushi Hiromitsu..." Yuki whispers.

"You recognize that name?" Subaru asks.

"Yeah." Yuki replies, "It feels like a lifetime ago." She looks out the window.

"A lifetime ago?" Subaru asks.

"He's my childhood friend." Yuki admits, "It's surprising the direction our destinies went. Zero, Hiro and the Snow Dragon. I wonder what Zero is doing now. I haven't spoken to him since grade school."

"The direction your destinies went?" Subaru asks.

"I married a man in the FBI who went undercover into the Black Organization and Hiro went undercover as a cop." Yuki explains.
