never venture in the woods
when it is dark outside
you might see fascinating things
like trolls and fireflies
and the moss, perhaps it may release
a luna butterfly
a gorgeous glowing spectacle
a pair of faeries eyes
so children never take the chance
and, listen close to me
if you should ever suspect adventure
don't even take a glance.
