i am adrenaline

i am grass stains on your knees, and daisy chains in your messy hair

i am a soft breeze rippling the dappled light

i am bravery and patience, integrity and love

i am a purple pen scrawling out a love note

i am fresh grown tulips and bright green grass

i am the four-leafed clover you never found

i am hidden

i am a cottage in the woods, inhabited by lepidoptera

i am eyelashes stuck together by tears, and i am the rain knocking on your window

i am piano music fluttering down the shafts of the tall buildings in the city

i am rare

i am the friendly stray cat that came from nowhere

i am an owl in the daylight, a butterfly at night

i am the stars

i am the light

i am rediscovered treehouses in the deep wood

and i am small treasures you find in the creek

i am a rainbow the glass reflects onto the ceiling

i am ocean salt and adventure
