Chapter 27: A Surprise Date?

"Aw, look how cute they are!"

"Shhh honey, you'll wake them up."

"Oh stop Charles. They are sleeping like little babies! Just look at them, they are too cute together!"

"Jacklen, honey, be quiet, let's get out before they hear us and wake up, come on."

"Just one more minute, I can't stand how adorable they look, let me just take one last picture. Just think, what if they grow up, get married and have little children together!"

That's all it took for me to wake up too until my eyes shot open, and my head whipped up to see a wide smiling Jacklen standing over Colton and I with a camera. A second later, Colton woke up looking too attractive with the way his dark hair was ruffled at the top, and with his bright blue eyes shining. His eyes squinted down, then he said

"Mom, dad, what are you doing?"

Jacklens smile seemed to of grown broader, but when I looked at Charles, his face looked slightly embarrassed and guilty. Jacklen replied with

"Oh, sorry sweetie, I was just taking a quick picture of you two adorable love birds, but you seemed to of woken up too fast for me too scurry away before you woke up."

Love birds?

Uh what? I mean I know Colton and I already confessed and everything, but how would Jacklen know, we haven't even told anybody, I mean other then my friends at school, but no one in the house. But, i guess you could also say that it sorta does look like we are together considering that I am wrapped in the arms of Colton. I raised a questioning eyebrow, then Colton said

"I think your in a little bit over your head mom..just leave please."

Jacklen raised her hands above her head in an innocent sort of look, then said

"I'm going sweetie, I'm going!"

Charles was already bolting out of the door before Jacklen had even reached it, but as Jacklen was finally stepping out of the door, she was just about closing it behind her, when her head poked back in one last time and she said

"Just remember children, use protection."

With that, she slammed the door shut behind her, and my face immediately engulfed into red, hot, fiery flames. After a few seconds of just blinking shockingly at the door, I slowly turned my head to look at Colton who had his eyebrows raised. Then, I said

"That could not have been more embarrassing."

He let out a chuckle, then leaned down and kissed the top of my head. I had to admit, waking up in the embrace of Colton's arms felt too amazingly good, almost too good. How did I get so lucky to have Colton as mine? Really. Even though I said I don't like kissing in the morning, I couldn't help myself, I cupped my hands around Colton's face gently, and kissed him on the lips, trying to show how much he really means to me. After a minute, we pulled away, and Colton's once bright blue eyes looked even brighter and more alive now, then he said

"What was that for?"

I blushed a little, then said

"I was just thinking of how lucky I am to have you, that's all."

I ducked my head away from him, slightly embarrassed, and I tried to use my hair to shield my burning face. I then felt both of Colton's big hands cradling my face, bringing it up to look at him, then he leaned down and kissed me again, letting his lips linger a little longer on my lips, barely moving, just letting them sit there. He then pulled away and said
