"I was counting our steps. We have to make one thousand steps into the desert, find an odd looking stone and then I'm supposed to use this ring then the sage is supposed to appear"

Marina smiled at me "Oh Adrian, make sure you explain it next time. It does neither of us any good if you're the only one to know the way."

"I mean, if you had gotten hurt I wouldn't know where to go and we might die-"
"Marina! I got alright, I'm sorry I'll make sure to tell you okay."
