"Well I'll say if you are treasure hunters, then give up. Everyone that goes there looking to get rich doesn't come back; Trust me. Everyone in the city knows when fools try it, everyone can see anyone who climbs up those stairs, even from the city entrance. Everyone knows who goes in and doesn't come back out."
"I see. So what's the deal with the tower, what's its story," Marina asked leaning in closer.
"Well if your insisting on keeping me here instead of doing my job, you're going to have to make it worth my time."
"Oh is that all," Marina pulled out five brightly colored gems about the size of a fingernail from a small pouch, placing them on the table
"Triple it," the waitress said smugly.
"Deal," Marina pulled out ten more out of the pouch, placing them next to the others.
The waitress immediately sat down and started talking.
"So word is, is that there's some sort of monster in that tower. Though no one knows for sure. Some say they hear noises like wailing and roaring coming from the tower. They say it's a dragon."
"That can't be dragons only exist in myth?" I replied.
