Approaching us from my right flank was a pack of monsters, Vorves. Wolf-like beasts with bony protrusions from their head and back.

"Alright, I guess I can work off some of this anger," Marina exclaimed as she stood up.

She stretched out her arm. From the bracket sprouted vines that shifted becoming a bow. Marina then with her other hand grasped at the arrow rest and pulled backwards. An arrow formed formed in her grasp.

Taking aim she loosed the arrow. It flew piercing straight through the head of one of the monsters. She did this three more times as the pack moved ran towards us.

I imagined a shield in my hand and responding to my thoughts the bracelet grew vines that twisted and coiled into a heater shield. I drew my sword readying myself for the wave of monsters that were descending upon us.

When they were several meters away Marina took off. The bow in her hand changed shape becoming a board sword.

Without missing a beat Marina slashed gracefully at monsters. When tried to charge at her she kicked it away before it could get to her.

She seemed to be in a sort of trance.
