I sat on the carpet in my room and I stared out the window watching as the leaves on the tree danced back and forth because of the harsh wind.

My parents weren't home.

I don't see why my parents felt the need to buy this huge house when they were never here.

We lived in a gated community which basically meant we lived in a place that was full of a bunch of rich people that had big houses and a big gate to keep unwanted people away.

What didn't help was the fact that him and his family lived across from us but their house was way bigger then any of the houses in the community.

I heard the door open downstairs and I quickly got back in bed not wanting my parents to know I was still awake.

Although my body was tired I still wouldn't be able to sleep anytime soon because my brain was still awake.

The events from earlier at school made me want to throw up.

Why couldn't I just be perfect enough?
