"Parting Ways"

• Aira's pov •

"Yah, until when are we going to look for her house? This is the fifth house we visited!", I complained as he chuckled

"Sorry, it's been a long time since I went to her house. I'm sure this is the right one", he knocked on the door couple of times

"Hello, may I help you?", It was a very friendly old lady

"Hello, sorry to bother you, is this where Park Minyoung lives?", I politely asked but the lady looked confused

"You must be wrong, there's no Park Minyoung here"

I gave Jungkook a look as he asked the old lady

"Are you the owner of this house?"

"Oh no, we just moved in two years ago", she replied

Jungkook and I looked at each other for a brief seconds

"Could you tell us from who did you buy this house?", I asked her again and the old lady suddenly remember something

"Are you looking for the previous Park family that lived here? I believe they left an address here"

"Yeah that's right! Would you mind telling us the address?", Jungkook requested as she nodded and went inside for a bit

"I hope they don't move too far", I mumbled but Jungkook chuckled

"I'll be surprised if they didn't move far"

"What do you mean?", He was about to open his mouth but the lady came and give us the address. We bowed to say thankyou and headed to the car.

Jungkook sighed when he looked at the address so I looked at the paper as well.

"Busan?!", I yelled as he laughed

"I knew it, Minyoung mentioned about being back to her hometown before", he muttered

"That's like the countryside of Busan", I lightly shook my head

"Looks like we're going to Busan", he putted on his seatbelt as I hit him

"No, YOU are going, this is not part of the deal", I pouted as he patted my head

"The deal is until I find her. Stop whining, I already booked the plane ticket", he texted something on his phone and threw it aside

I was about to say no but my phone rang.

"Hello? Mom?", I asked and her voice sounds like she's crying

"Where are you?"

"Mom, are you okay? I'm out with a friend-"

"Come home immediately. We need to talk", she hung up and Jungkook looked at me with curiousity written on his face

"Family emergency. I can't come with you to Busan tonight", I looked over to him as he shrugged

"I'll move the date to tomorrow", he said and I just slumped on the seat

Jungkook drove pretty fast and we arrived on time. I got out of the car and said thankyou.

"Call me if there's something wrong okay?", he reminded as I chuckled

"You're not my mother, you can't-"

"Aira", he looked serious so I nodded

"Fine, just go home safely", he closed the window and drove off
