Chapter 10: Re-written

"What?! My father..? He wouldn't dare do that. He wouldn't....he wouldn't do..that and kill a woman....he wouldn't try to.." Claw closed his eyes and looked to the side. He yelled and screamed at his mate.

"I'm sorry..." He then punched the wall and she flinched slipping off of the bed. She was getting scared.

"No. He wouldn't do that. He wouldn't. And...and you? You killing him? Who the hell do you think I am?!" His wolf was taking over and he started to howl and growl at her. She then started to shake and scurried back to the end of the room. She was terrified now. His eyes were black and he held his hands in a fist.

"Protecting your father is going to get him killed now. You're even more of a dumbass than I thought" hearing this her lip trembled and began to cry.

"Crying is gonna get you nowhere...worthless mate" he growled out and stormed out the door.

Aaliyah went through the argument in her head multiple times. She had been crying non stop for hours now. She didn't let anyone in the room. Not that anyone came to her anyway.

She felt betrayed...she felt like she couldn't be loved anymore. She slowly started to shut down mentally and physically. That's before she heard a child crying. She tried to ignore it for some time and ended up not being able to stand it.

Leaving her room still in tears, she slowly then walked down the stairs to see others in the living room. Lilliana, Tina, Gina, Luke and Michael along with Claw had been in the middle of the room and was looking down at a child who was crying. Her eyes widened looking at them.

"You know what to do with him" he gave the kid to Luke where he nodded and started to drag the crying child somewhere.

"You can't kill him! Luke stop this! Don't listen to him damnit! Claw what the hell is wrong with you!" Hearing this Aaliyah widened her eyes. He was going to kill a little child and she couldn't let this happen.

All of a sudden Aaliyah held her mouth closed and trampled as fast as she could and grabbed the child. She wrapped her arms around the child and ran back to the edge of the stairs

"Gah!" Luke cried out and held his arm as Aaliyah stepped back with the bloody child in her arms.

"What the hell do you think you're doing" Claw demanded and growled at the girl.

"You're gonna kill this child!" Aaliyah fell to the floor as the boy grabbed onto her shirt and dug his face into her chest.

"Yes. And? He's an alpha child. He's going to figure this out if he gets older and come try to destroy this pack. So it's better for him to die now then have chances of-" a loud sound rang through the entire pack. Aaliyah was standing tall in front of her mate with dried and new tears on her face.

The child she held in her arms was the son of an alpha. The raid he had been talking about for some time had happened and left only a single child in their pack while the others had scattered around.

"How dare you. How could you. He's just a child" Claw growled and grabbed Aaliyah's arm. She gasped as he did so and she gave a whine. Everyone in the room gasped to themselves since no one was expecting that.

"How dare I? How dare you make a false fucked up story. I'm taking this child and he will die tonight." Aaliyah kicked him and got out from his grasp.

"Then kill me too." She cried out and ran inside of the pack house with the little boy. Lilliana looked at her Mate storming off mad about how he was going to just kill a kid. Lilliana knew that this was just how her pack worked but knowing her mate was going to kill a kid made her sick. She actually had to go to the bathroom for a while to clear herself of this nausea.

Tina ran after Aaliyah so that she could comfort her and the little boy. Gina scoffed and touched Claws arm.

"Claw...don't worry..." She smirked a little and held his hand. She couldn't help but try to soothe him. If it wasn't for her own benefit then it was for his. She couldn't also help but see the disarray that had been going on between the both of them.

"If I was Luna I would've killed the child myself. Just to make you happy. And well...knowing that she's now not fit maybe-" Claw pushed Gina away and went away from the woman.

"Not a chance Gina. Stay back" he growled out to her as she glared.

"Don't worry....I'll get you in my arms." She couldn't help but stare and fawn.

Claw went to his bedroom door to the smell of body wash. Tina was on the edge of the bed moving Aaliyah's hair out of her face. Tina looked up and stood. Claw glared at her and at that, she knew she had to leave.

"I have to go...I'll see you later tomorrow" as Tina left Claw went to Aaliyah. She was holding the child in her arms. Claws eyes widened.

"H-he stopped breathing when I laid him down to sleep.....he was smiling when he cuddled to me....I don't understand why he died....h-he was.." She then started to cry loudly again. He blew through his nose. He didn't realize the pain he caused her and he couldn't believe what she said about his father. Would such a great man do something so terrible.

"But what do you care...you're gonna kill him anyway....you hate me...I'm...I'm your worthless mate." Claw closed his eyes remembering the words he said to her.

"Aaliyah..I..." He couldn't get it out, he couldn't say he was sorry for what he had said to her. For how mean he was to her.

"It's okay Claw....I still love you.....I don't know about the rest" She stated. He hoped his harshness didn't make her go into some type of shock. He left her alone for hours upon hours. If her story was true then he could have caused her to break down.

"What you said really hurt me....it did..just don't touch me...anymore" she said quite harshly.

Stunned, Claw stepped back ultimately walking away. As he did so, Aaliyah got up and walked down to the medical bay to see what had happened to the little boy. She was too heartbroken and stressed for anything more to happen.
