Saving It All For Me

Chapter 12.

"She is so beautiful," I thought as I watched her sleep on my chest. I almost forgot she had to be home by 10. It's almost 11. 

"Baby,"I said kissing her cheek,"Baby wake up."

"Hmm what is it?" she said in a yawning voice. 

"I thought you had to be home by ten," I said.

"Oh shoot,"she shot up checking her phone,"Fine time to remind me."

"I wouldn't mind you sleeping over baby, my bed has plenty of room,"I smirked rubbing my hands over the empty space in my bed. 

"No thanks, my dad would kill me,"she mentioned,"If he doesn't kill me for being late."

"I'm sorry for keeping you so long," I apologized. 

"You didn't keep me, I fell asleep, but thanks anyway,"she said grabbing her keys. 

"Wait, let me walk you to your car,"I said. 

I got out of bed and followed behind her downstairs and out the door. Then I seen my family getting out the car which caught me completely off guard. 

"Hey mama,"I said kissing her cheek. 

"Heyyy Kenny,"she said looking between me and Toni. 

"Oh umm ma this is my girlfriend Toni,"I said,"And Toni this my mom Mrs. Barbara." 

"Nice to meet you,"Toni smiled.

"You too young lady, isn't it kind of late for you to be out here?"My mama asked. Here we go,"I don't think Reverend Braxton would like this." 

"He wouldn't and that's why I'm leaving,"she said walking to her car. 

"Goodnight mama,"I hurried to say so she could go inside. 

"We need to talk,"she said before walking inside the house. 

"Wait Toni before you go,"I said jogging to the driver side window,"I want my goodnight kiss." 

She grinned allowing me to peck her lips multiple times. 

"Goodnight beautiful,"I said,"Drive safely."

"Goodnight,"she said starting her car and driving off.

As soon as she left I made my way inside where I met my mother face to face.

"What do you think you're doing?"she asked.

"I don't know what you're talking about,"I said going in the fridge.

"What I told you about that girl?"she asked,"She's too good for you."

"Wow mom when I need words of encouragement I'd make sure to come straight to you,"I said sarcastically,"Way to down your son."

"I'm just saying she's a good girl and I don't want you to hurt her,"she said.

"I know mama,"I said walking upstairs.

"What you doing baby?"I asked pulling in my school parking lot.

"Still getting dressed, I can't find my shirt,"she said.

"Go shirtless,"I said.

"Don't play with me,"she said.

"What you doing after school?"I asked.

"Work,"she admitted.

"Damn, do you ever get off?"I said.

"Why?"she asked.
