Aktualizacja (11.07.2019) PL: Pierwotnie budowla znana była pod nazwą Amphitheatrum Flaviam (Amfiteatr Flawiuszy). Dziś pozostał jedynie szkielet budowli, ale i tak robi wrażenie. Za czasów swojego funkcjonowania mieścił 60 tysięcy osób na miejscach siedzących oraz 10 tysięcy na miejscach stojących. Wnętrze Koloseum było wyposażone w zapadnie i podnośniki dla ludzi i zwierząt. Podłoga wyłożona była wodoodpornym płótnem, na które wysypywano piach. W niego wsiąkała krew pokonanych.
Update (11.07.2019) ENG: Originally, the building was known as Amphitheatrum Flaviam (Flavian Amphitheater). Today, only the skeleton of the building remained, but it still seems impressive. During its functioning, it housed 60,000 people in seated places and 10,000 in standing places. The interior of the Colosseum was equipped with trapdoors and lifts for people and animals. The floor was lined with waterproof canvas, on which sand was poured. The blood of the defeated was in him.
