PL: Reine to cichutka, licząca ok. 300 mieszkańców, miejscowość na wyspie Moskenesøy na Lofotach. Uznawana jest za symbol archipelagu, a jej widoki pojawiły się na dziesiątkach pocztówek i zdjęć zafascynowanych turystów. Niewielkie Reine położone jest na kilkunastu wysepkach połączonych mostami, jakby górujące nad mieściną ostre, poszarpane, kilkusetmetrowe szczyty nie dawały jej wytchnienia (Moskenesøy to najbardziej górzysta z wysp Lofotów - osady zajmują tu zazwyczaj skrawki lądu nad samym morzem). Góry Lofotów nie są wysokie, ale bardzo strzeliste i niedostępne. Najbardziej charakterystyczny jest spiczasty Okstinden (675 m n.p.m.), a najpiękniejsza panorama Reine rozpościera się z Reinebringen (448 m n.p.m.; wejście zajmuje ok. 1 h). Zobaczyć stąd można przy dobrej pogodzie, z czym na Lofotach bywa różnie, nie tylko Reine, ale też Reinefjorden, Kjerkfjorden, Sakrisøy i Hamnøy. Reine to oaza spokoju, miejsce do odpoczynku i zachwycania się bajkową scenerią i zorzą polarną (zazwyczaj od września do kwietnia), ale też świetna baza wypadowa na całe Lofoty. Z miasteczka wyruszają wycieczki wędkarskie (głównie na dorsze, czarniaki i halibuty), można wypożyczyć kajak morski (The Guardian uznał Lofoty za jedno z 10 najlepszych miejsc na świecie do uprawiania tego sportu) lub rower, powspinać się, nurkować, udać na obserwacje ptaków (maskonurów, kormoranów, nurzyków i... bielików) lub wielorybów, zobaczyć piękny Reinefjord z pokładu statku, a nawet zagrać w golfa. Miłośnicy "dziwnych miejsc" mogą udać się z Reine na wycieczkę do odległej o zaledwie 10 km miejscowości Å. Å to ostatnia wioska wzdłuż Narodowego Szlaku Turystycznego Lofotów, gdzie - oprócz obowiązkowego zdjęcia przy tablicy z jedną z najkrótszych nazw geograficznych na świecie - można odwiedzić Muzeum Sztokfisza i Norweskie Muzeum Rybołóstwa.
Update (12.07.2019) ENG: Reine is a quiet, 300-inhabitants village on the island of Moskenesøy in Lofoten. Recognized as the symbol of the archipelago, its views appeared on dozens of postcards and photos of fascinated tourists. The small Reine is located on a dozen islets connected by bridges as if towering over the town with sharp, jagged, several hundred meters high peaks did not give her a respite (Moskenesøy is the most mountainous of the Lofoten islands - the settlements usually occupy the land strips above the sea). The Lofoten Mountains are not high, but very towering and inaccessible. The most characteristic is the pointed Okstinden (675 m above sea level), and the most beautiful Reine panorama stretches from Reinebringen (448 m above sea level, the entrance takes about 1 hour). You can see from here in good weather, with which Lofoten can be different, not only Reine but also Reinefjorden, Kjerkfjorden, Sakrisøy and Hamnøy. Reine is an oasis of peace, a place to rest and admire the fairy-tale scenery and northern lights (usually from September to April), but also a great base for the whole of Lofoten. Fishing trips start from the town (mainly for cod, saithe and halibut), you can rent a sea kayak (The Guardian considered Lofoten one of the 10 best places in the world to practice this sport) or bike, climb, dive, go on bird watching ( puffins, cormorants, buzzards and ... white-tailed eagles) or whales, see the beautiful Reinefjord from the deck of the ship and even play golf. Fans of "strange places" can go with Reine on a trip to the village of Å, only 10 km away. It is the last village along the Lofoten National Tourist Route, where - in addition to the obligatory photo by the board with one of the shortest geographical names in the world - you can visit the Stockholm Museum and the Norwegian Fisheries Museum.
