Venus' POV
I walked down the stairs about an hour later, to see Severus setting the table for two.
I smirked a little to myself.
I sat down in the chair closest to me, and Severus glanced up.
"Are you all settled?" He asked, as he placed the food on the table, and took a seat across from me.
I nodded. "I am. Would you like to see it after dinner ends?"
He rose an eyebrow, assessing me.
"I didn't destroy your home, I promise." I chuckled a bit.
"Glad to hear." He mumbled.
I looked over the plates of food, while taking a sip of what I could taste as champagne, from my glass.
"Severus?"
"Yes, Miss Hastings?"
He looked up from his food, giving me an amused smirk.
"We're on a date." I said, giving him a sly smirk.
Severus leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms over his chest. My heart pounded at the attractiveness of the action.
"Are we, now?" He murmured, meeting my gaze.
I nodded, crossing my legs, leaning against the elbow of the chair.
We stared at each other for a bit longer, before we commenced eating our dinner.

"Come on.." I laughed, pulling him by hand up the stairs, and to the door of my room.
I winked up at him, before opening the door.
I led him inside, and shut the door.
I smiled up at the real-time moon and star-covered ceiling.
"You like?" I asked, as I watched Severus watch my ceiling.
He looked down at me, his signature smirk lacing his lips.
"That's not all." I whispered.
I snapped my fingers, and words started appearing on the walls piece by piece. There were quotes from my favorite novels and poems all lit up in silver.
Severus gave me a look full of disbelief.
"Incredible." He whispered.
"What?" I asked.
"You."
My breath caught, but before I could speak, he had left my room.
I sat down on my bed, staring at the door where he had left.

That night
It was dark. And cold.
I couldn't see anything.
I was in the dark room, alone.

I woke up in a panic. I looked around, noticing I wasn't in Hades' prison, but in Severus' house, in my room.
I took some deep breaths, blinking back the tears. I looked towards the door, conflicted on if I should follow through with what I wanted.
I ignored my head, and followed my heart.
Quietly I slipped out of bed, wearing only my red silk nightgown.
I padded across the floor in bare feet, and walked out into the short hallway, and down to Severus' bedroom.
I stopped outside the door and took a deep breath.
I opened the door as quietly as I could, and closed it straight behind me.
I approached his bedside, my heart beating rapidly.

Sev's POV
I was awoken because I felt I was being watched. I opened my eyes, and sat up on my elbow, my eyes widened in shock.
"Miss Hastings?" I murmured, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes, in order to assure myself that I wasn't dreaming.
The moonlight shining through the window illuminated her, and she looked the most beautiful I'd ever seen.
Venus' POV
I swallowed.
I didn't really know what to say. I was nervous, and excited all at once, but at this moment, I just wanted comfort.
I walked around the bed to the other side.
Severus just looked at me.
"Can I--can I  sleep with you? I don't want to be alone." I whispered.
He nodded, and without a word, I slid into the bed next to him. I looked up at him.
His hand caressed my cheek.
"Venus, are you alright?" He asked softly, searching my face.
I smiled, his eyes hypnotizing me with one look. "Never better."
Severus smiled a little, before it got serious.
I couldn't tear my eyes away, and his fell to my lips.
He grasped my face, and engulfed my lips in his, in a passionate kiss.
I rolled over top of him in an instant, as he urged me to his lips, and my hands laid on his shirtless chest.
We were both breathing heavily, and I felt my whole body tingling.
I pulled away, and looked at Severus, my hair fanning my face.
He had mixed emotions shining in his eyes.
"Do you want me, Severus?" I asked in a gentle whisper.
