This will be the last update for this week! support me because I will be having exams and quizzes non-stop... hope you stay cool XD.

Nobody's POV

A man in the shadow lingers on the street, looking at how the lights dance on the air as the sky was covered in a dark blanket that seemed to have small holes that let the light flickered from the distance. He was not particularly interested with anything at the moment except for undeniable attraction to a woman whom he has recognized as a 'friend' together with a blonde, out-going girl, who was her best friend.

The idea of friendship confuses him but later he understood what it meant. It meant to be there when a 'friend' is in need and be a light source when a 'friend' is blinded in the dark. He knew 'friendship' and yet, the mentioned was currently breaking apart as it slowly evolved to a much more complicated kind of 'relationship'.

Yes, that's what makes things confusing, 'relationships', when you were fighting for your 'friendship' and then you realize that it was not just the fact that a 'friend' was in need but it was also because of the recent discovery of when heartbeats increase when you see that person.

A discovery that leaves you to long for something more than just a 'friend' because it felt more like cage than place in that person's world.

He was there when it all fell apart and no one, but him, saw that.

"Sai?" a voice coming from behind called him,

"Oh... Naruko... long time so see..." he answered,

"You're doing well..." she said with her eyes glinting with guilt not directed to him but to a person she is thinking about,

"Naruko... I wish you would have told me about your daughter... I would have wanted to be a Godfather, you know," he said flashing his rather fake smile like nothing was wrong when he knew exactly what was breaking,

"Sorry..." she answered, when suddenly a small girl runs to her side calling her,

"Mama! Mama! Look!" the little one said as she is pointing at a clip placed on her hair. It has a small, blue stone design that matched the mother and child's eyes,

"What is it, Chisuke?" she asked with her kind motherly voice that he had just first heard of,

"Sasuke-san, gave me this clip! Isn't it pretty?" she asked with her eyes sparkling with delight and innocence,

"Ahh... Chisuke looks very pretty now," she flattered her daughter gaining a grin on the child's face, which resembled her and another. The presence of another man was felt and Sai looked his direction, it was Sasuke,

"Oh... Hello, Sasuke-kun..." he greeted, smiling, Sasuke then greeted back with a nod,

"Mama! Let's go!" the little one said as she pulls her mother by the hand which causes her to trip, and with a swift of the hand, she was grabbed by the waist, avoiding collision to the hard, cold ground.

"That was dangerous... Chisuke, you shouldn't do that," Sasuke said as he helps Naruko gain her balance,

"I'm sorry, Mama... Are you alright?" Chisuke answered,

"I'm fine... I wasn't hurt at all..." Naruko answered, suddenly feeling a sensation of a hand on her waist, her face turned red. She dashed to her daughter's side and grabbed her hand, trying to avoid Sasuke,

"Hmm... It seems that you are getting along well..." Sai said looking at Sasuke, who had a grin on his face, looking quite amused,

"So it seems..." he answered, leaving Sai to look at the view of what it seemed like a happy family but he knew too well that it was a trick of the night, for he knew that Sasuke was engaged to Sakura. He was left to wonder how things actually are doing.
