Third Person POV

The following day, the couple decided to go and confront Sakura. They have left Chisuke in the hands of Iruka and Kakashi. They had planned early to meet with Sakura in Ichiraku's to tell her of their engagement and how they would settle with the situation. Naruko was nervous, her hands were shaking along the way and Sasuke held it for her. They have reached their destination and inside near the corner seats was Sakura alone, waiting.

"Sasuke, why is she here? I thought we were going to talk about our child?" Sakura said with a harsh demanding tone,

"Sakura, don't make a fuss about it... She is my fiancée... What we talk of and how we will do this is something my future wife should know," Sasuke said, out of the bat,

Naruko could see Sakura's face filled with rage, she tightly held Sasuke's hand which he returned immediately.

"What's the meaning of this?!" Sakura said, with her hand tightly held into a fist,

"Naruko and I have decided to tie the knot," Sasuke bluntly said with no remorse, he was being intentionally insensitive towards Sakura,

"What about our child?" Sakura asked,

"What about it? Being married with Naruko doesn't mean I can't be a father to our child... What did you think I was going to do?" Sasuke answered,

"My child can't grow up like that?!" Sakura reasoned,

"Like what, Sakura? What do you want me to do? Marry you instead?" Sasuke asked angrily,

"What do you think?!! It's the right thing to do!!! You have a child with me!" Sakura answered fiercely,

"If it were the right thing to do, then, I still will marry Naruko!!!" Sasuke said,

"Why because you love her??!!"Sakura was getting mad, she slams her fist on the table,

"Yes... And because we have a child, Chisuke..." Sasuke declared,

"How can you be so heartless?! Can't you see me?! I love you more than she could!" Sakura was furious, and at the same time, she was crying,

"You love me... but do I love you? Can I return your feelings? We both know the answer is no," Sasuke said calmly,

"You bitch!!" Sakura shouted as she closes in on Naruko but was intercepted with Sasuke,

"Don't you dare hurt, Naruko... You, of all people, should know your place... You deserve someone else, Sakura... 'cause I already have mine," Sasuke said, Sakura sheds more tears and ran out of Ichiraku's. Naruko was about to ran after her but was stopped by Sasuke,

"Naruko, don't... its best you leave her alone... If you keep on being too nice to her, she won't learn at all," Sasuke said, and all Naruko could do was watch the last place Sakura stood and thought of her crying face....

The next day, they have heard that Sakura was hospitalized.

Sasuke decided to visit her and brought Chisuke. Since Naruko was someone she wouldn't want to see which Naruko understood.

Sasuke opened the door to Sakura's room and they both found her sitting in bed looking at a distance.

"Sakura... How are you?" Sasuke genuinely asked,

"What do you think? Is this what you wanted?" Sakura pitifully said,

"This isn't something we wanted Sakura... Can't you be happy that you and our child is safe from danger?" Sasuke said angrily,

"What do you want? And you even brought her along with you?! Are you really mocking me? Showing to me how she would always be ahead? How I can never be enough?? How you chose her instead of me?!" Sakura was starting to raise her voice,

"Sakura, enough!" Sasuke was mad, and all Chisuke could do was hid behind Sasuke,

"Can't you just be grateful that I even want to be part of our child's life?! Stop acting like a child already, Sakura! Aren't you ashamed of yourself? Acting like a jealous child?! Don't you dare put the blame on Naruko because all she did was make me happy... More happy than you could even offer me!" Sasuke scolded,

"What does she have that I don't?! How can I snatch you from her?! How can I make you mine?! Just how cruel can you be?!" Sakura answered, she was crying as she grabs tightly the blankets on her lap,

"I can be crueler, Sakura... More than you can imagine... But this is just the amount of nice I can offer you... Being a father to our child... If you think that I would have left Naruko and marry a woman like you for carrying my child... You're wrong... because I would have and always choose the woman I love over someone like you... I would have left you... I would never be considerate at all..." Sasuke pauses and looks at Chisuke, who was looking very worried at her father,

"But Naruko isn't like that... She loves you... She loves me... She asked me to be this way... to be a father for the child... to be here for you, who is going through this..." Sasuke said as he places his hand on Chisuke's head and gently caresses her,

"Leave!" Sakura shouted, as she tightly closes her eyes, her tears still flowing down, her head looking down,

"Papa," Chisuke called out, worrying for the pink-haired aunt,

"Let's go, Chisuke... Let's just visit another time..." Sasuke then picks up Chisuke and left. After a while, a woman steps inside the room,

"I told you, Sakura... This was pointless... And instead of getting Sasuke... you're getting hurt..." the woman said,

"Shut up, Ino... You know nothing..." Sakura hissed, as she wipes her eyes,

"I know that it hurts... I've been there and I have moved on... I'm amazed you even still love a guy like him... Knowing that he is far from reached already... he is happy by her side," Ino replied,

"I was beside him... and yet, nothing can make him see me... I tried so many times to reached out for his heart and all I get is nothing... and then, I was so close but she just had to come back and ruin everything!" Sakura said,

"That's what you call fate, Sakura... No matter how you interfere with it, you can never change the reality that Sasuke's heart is for Naruko and Naruko's for him," Ino replied.
