Lionel sat quietly next to Neymar. It was crazy how Davi was so playful and happy at times. And then it would hit him. His mother was gone and no matter how hard he cried for her she was not going to come back.
"It's been a while, is Davi okay?"
"Yup. He's coping well," Neymar smiles
"Are you?" Lionel asks
"I am. I didn't love her anymore. I feel like a bad person for feeling this way but I wasn't completely devastated you know? I hated her and I know her death should've struck me hard and I should've fell to my knees and cried for her until I threw up. But I didn't. Am I a bad person for not doing so?"
"You're not a bad person at all, Ney. It's okay to not feel a thing. Just like it's okay to feel everything."
Neymar liked talking to Lionel. Lionel made him feel okay about his decisions and the way he handles things.
"You are far too kind to me. Is it because you like my little sister?" Neymar chuckles
"W-what? No!" Lionel chokes
"Are you sure?"
"Positive.. I think I like someone else," Lionel swallows
"Oh.. Rafa?"
"No, ney."
"Then who?" Neymar groans
"You have one more chance to guess.. If you guess right I'll do whatever you want."
"Oh! Really?? Okay.. Umm.. I know who you like! Me!! I mean.. I'm so awesome, why wouldn't you?" Neymar chuckles
"You're right. You're so so awesome."
"Cmon Leo.. Tell me!"
"I told you.. You're right."
Neymar's eyes go wide. He can't believe it.
