Aiden stirred a little. The sun was breaking through the window. The sunlight lighted the entire room. He blinked a little to adjust with brightness.
He opened his eyes and stayed awake but he didn't lift his head up from the table. He looked at the room horizontally. He kept staring around when something caught his eye.
A paper was hanging out through one of the drawers in the desk. The third desk from top.
Aiden opened the drawer to adjust the paper a little. It was kept in such a way that the moment Aiden opened the drawer, the folded paper fell out of it.
He picked it up from the ground. Then he saw it. One word written on it. Aiden.
It was in Hannah's handwriting. She had written him a letter. When had she written him a letter? Why didn't she give it to him before? Why had he not known about it before? A million questions ran through his mind.
It opened it and started to read.
