Aiden stood outside the same room he couldn't enter. He stood outside his daughter's room. His hand again hovered above the the door knob.

Then, he reached for it and twisted the door knob to entered the room.

He entered the pink walled room and walked over to the cradle. The baby was crying. He gently picked his daughter up and rocked her in his arms.

His eyes met her twinkling ones. She stopped crying and laughed.

She looked like her mother.

"I am sorry." He whispered to her. "I was blinded by my grief but I promise you I will never let you go. I will never let my miracle go."

The tears from his eyes wet her little pink blanket. Her small hands touched his face and he brought them his lips. He planted a kiss on her forehead and sat down on the rocking chair that was beside the cradle.

He kept looking at her and she at him. He gently rocked her until she fell asleep again.
