It was your school dance. And today, you were gonna ask your crush, (c/n), out on the dance.

"Come on (y/n)! Just ask him/her out!" (B/f/n) yelled.

You looked at him/her seriously. "It's not that easy asking your crush out, you know." You rolled your eyes. You were reading a book that interested you. (B/f/n) snatched the book from you. "You have too! It's the dance today and everyone is going, including (C/n)!" He/she yelled. "Shh!" You shushed. "Don't say his/her name out loud!" You whispered loudly. "Ok.. But just ask him/her out." She pouted. "In your wildest dream." You crossed your arms and rolled your eyes. "You're going to the dance." (B/f/n) said. "I sign have a ticket for it." You snickered. (B/f/n) smirked and took out two tickets. "Got you one already, can't back out now since it costed me $15! It'll be a waste if I throw it away." He/she said. You glared at him/her and said, "I hate you." "I love you too!" He/she chirped. You rolled your eyes ask said, "yeah, yeah. Let's just go before I back out."

Later

You were at the dance, you were all dressed up. "Ugh I hate this dress/tuxedo!" You whined. "Shush!" (B/f/n) fixed your tie/dress. "There, but go get him/her tiger!" (B/f/n) pushed you to the dance floor. You stumbled and crashed to someone. "Hey (y/n)! You came to the party?" You heard (c/f/n). You nodded. "I like your dress/tux. It's suits you." (C/f/n) winked at you and laughed. You chuckled nervously and said, "uh, where's (c/n)?" He/she smirked at you. "You like him/her?" You blushed deeply and shook your head harshly. "Suuure, (c/n) is by the DJ." (C/f/n) pointed by the DJ. "Thanks." You said and walked over there.

There you saw (c/n) talking to (e/n), and you saw (c/n) expression, boredom. You walked up to them and said, "hi (c/n)! Hi.. (E/n)." You sounded annoyed when you said (e/n) name. "Oh, you look nice.. Like.. Very nice." (C/n) examined you. "T-thanks." You blushed. "Yeah, me and (c/n) were talking, so please leave!" (E/n) barked at you. "No, she/he could stay." (C/n) said, grabbing your arm. (E/n) scoffed and said, "fuck this." And walked away.

What's her/his problem? You thought.

"Hey, wanna dance?" (C/n) asked. "Sure." You smiled. You two walked to the dance floor and started dancing.

You guys were dancing normally, full speed, until you heard the DJ. "This song goes to (y/n) and (c/n)!" Then you heard your (f/s). "Hey I like this song." You said. "Me too." (C/n) said. You guys smiled and still danced.

Later

After the dance finished, (c/n) and (c/f/n) took you and (b/f/n) home. "Ask him/her out on a date." (B/f/n) said. You sighed. You tapped (c/n) shoulder. "Yeah?" He/she said. "Can I talk to you, private?" You said looking at (b/f/n) and (c/f/n). They both gave you thumb ups. "Sure." You and (c/n) went behind a tree. "I know this is gonna sound, well cliche.. But, I like you and.. Would you go out with me?" You asked.

"Yes!" (C/n) yelled. "Phew, for a second I thought you were gonna say no." You laughed nervously. "I'll never say no to a cute girl/guy." (C/n) said. You blushed. "Sure sure." You said, together walking to your friends. "Hell yes!" (B/f/n) and (c/f/n) yelled. "You guys are my OTP!" (B/f/n) cried. "Whatever, l-let's go!" You said. "Aw, you're blushing aren't you!" (C/n) pinched your cheeks. "Shush." You said. "Make me!" You put your hand over his/her mouth. "Now we go." You said.

A/n: So, here's a little rant.. One of my best friend's who's the realist, said girls can't ask boys out. Tbh I disagree to this, cause it dormant matter what society thinks how boys ask girls out. It's because one of my friends wanted to ask her crush out and I told her to do it and then I told my best friend and she told me that. Then she realize she could break the line of society, but she told me "I still wouldn't ask my crush out, it seems wrong" . Ladies ask your crushed out, before society really takes over :( that's all, it kinda pissed me off. Well then, have a nice day/night!
