"Did you hear about that play?" (F/n) said. You sighed. You heard everyone talking about this play around school. "I keep hearing about it, but I don't even know what play it's going to be." You said, closing your locker.

"It's that one song called 'baby it's cold outside' and the good thing about it is any gender could be the guy or girl! Like they could be both girls or boys!" You nodded. You were annoyed about the play. It's like a new gossip.

"I really don't like plays." You said. (F/n) gasped and said, "the hell (y/n)!?" You shrugged. "(C/n) is one of the actors. I think he/she sings for the guy part? Yea, I'm pretty sure. And I heard that in the end they kiss. Like mouth to mouth."

Your heart felt like it just dropped. You like (c/n), and just seeing him/her kiss someone makes you feel like he/she is cheating on you.

"Well, what if we don't make this play happen at all? Like sabotage the play?" You said. "Orrrr.." your friend smiled at you. "You sign up for the other actor?" You shook your head. "You know I hate being on stage! What makes you think it's fine for a girl/guy who hates to present their projects in front of class to sing in front of the whole school?!"

"It's just gonna be like three minutes on stage and then you're done!" (F/n) said. "No!" You shouted and walked down the hall.

"You did what?!" You yelled. "I signed your name on the audition..." (f/n) whispered. "Why the hell would you do that?! What makes you think it's fine to do this without telling me?!" You yelled at her/him.

She/he put her/him fingers on her/his lips.Shh! You've been liking (c/n) since 7th grade!" (A/n: lmao I've been liking my crush since 7th grade🤷🏽‍♀️)

"Ok, so? I hate this so much!" You pulled your hair. "The audition is tomorrow." (F/n) said. "No, I'm just gonna say my friend signed me up and say I really don't want to do then leave." You rolled your eyes at her/him. "This will be your last chance to kiss (c/n), but whatever your crush, not mine." Then she/he walked out of the bathroom.

"Can't believe I'm doing this.." You whispered to yourself. "Ok... uh... (y/n)!" The director yelled out. You walked on to stage and saw him. "You're (y/n)?" You nodded. "Ok then.. sing a few lines, just your part." You nodded.

"I really can't stay... I've got to go away....this evening has been... so very nice... my mother will start to worry... my father will be pacing the floor... so really id better scu-" "that's enough to hear that you're..." the director said slowly. Your heart was beating fast.

"In." You smiled. "That's my friend!" You heard (f/n). "You May go now, and the play is tonight." You nodded and got off the stage. You were walking down the steps until you heard, "you have a nice voice, really." You turned around and saw (c/n).

Your heart started to beat faster and butterflies were flying. "Uh... thanks." You blushed. "Have you really sang before? Or have you sang before?" He/she asked, walking towards you. "Uh... I sometimes... sing when I'm alone." You chuckled in embarrassment.

"Well... (y/n), you weren't bad." He/she smirked at you. "Thanks." You smiled. "I'll see you tonight." You nodded. Then you walked to (f/n). "I saw you talking to (c/n)! What did he/she say?!" (F/n) freaked out.

"Nothing really. Except he/she said I have a nice voice and sing good." You blushed. "Woah! He/she likes you." You rolled your eyes. "You're acting like a middle schooler." You said. "What? I'm still a child. I may be a junior (11th grade), but I'll act like how I want to act." She/he said. "Whatever you say." You chuckled and walked out of school.

A/n: Heyyyy, Uh sorry I post it a day late and this is just part 1. Btw for anyone living in California or close to California, who else saw that rocket from Spacex? When I saw it I freaked out thinking it was aliens😂 I went outside to look but was scared to be seen it. Man but it was beautiful and scary at the same time. Btw I'll post part two today.
