AN: Colors by Halsey. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Your little brother never tells you but he loves you so
You said your mother only smiled on her TV show
You're only happy when your sorry head is filled with dope
I hope you make it to the day you're 28 years old

Dean Ambrose never had the happiest life, things always were a mess, but he didn't mind messes anymore.

You're dripping like a saturated sunrise
You're spilling like an overflowing sink
You're ripped at every edge but you're a masterpiece
And now you're tearing through the pages and the ink

He was never good at communicating his feelings, so he wrote them down. Going through dozens of book and pens.

Everything is blue
His pills, his hands, his jeans
And now I'm covered in the colors
Pulled apart at the seams
And it's blue
And it's blue

His whole life, he took medicine. It was a bright blue pill, it made him not feel as sad. Growing up was very hard, causing him to get depressed.

Everything is grey
His hair, his smoke, his dreams
And now he's so devoid of color
He don't know what it means
And he's blue
And he's blue

His mother died when he was a teenager, making his depression even worse, he didn't think it could get worse.

You were a vision in the morning when the light came through
I know I've only felt religion when I've lied with you
You said you'll never be forgiven 'til your boys are too
And I'm still waking every morning but it's not with you

Pain didn't bother him anymore, pain was apart of his life. There is nothing he can do about his depression, he'll be depressed for the rest of his life. Doctors gave him medicine, nothing helped.

You're dripping like a saturated sunrise
You're spilling like an overflowing sink
You're ripped at every edge but you're a masterpiece
And now you're tearing through the pages and the ink
Everything is blue
His pills, his hands, his jeans
And now I'm covered in the colors
Pulled apart at the seams
And it's blue
And it's blue

Dean's father was locked away in jail, which didn't bother him. His father would always abuse his family. He was grateful, his dad was behind bars, it made him have a feeling of safety.

Everything is grey
His hair, his smoke, his dreams
And now he's so devoid of color
He don't know what it means
And he's blue
And he's blue

Drugs were something he grew up with, slowly starting to do them too. Cigarettes were his favorite thing in the world, they just felt so good to him.

Everything is blue
Everything is blue
Everything is blue
Everything is blue

He resembled his father a lot, which scared Dean. In his mind, he was so much like his father, but he never wanted to be an abuser.

You were red and you liked me 'cause I was blue
You touched me and suddenly I was a lilac sky
And you decided purple just wasn't for you

The feeling of hurting a woman gave him so much scarification. Although, he never hit a woman like his father, they were mentally abused by him.

Everything is blue
His pills, his hands, his jeans
And now I'm covered in the colors
Pulled apart at the seams
And it's blue
And it's blue

The only clothes Dean wore was a pair of blue jeans. They were once his father's, despite hating his father, he always wanted a piece of him.

Everything is grey
His hair, his smoke, his dreams
And now he's so devoid of color
He don't know what it means
And he's blue
And he's blue
And makes me blue

Love never meant a thing to him, love was a word. He believed he wasn't capable of love.

Everything is blue

One day, he met a girl who was just as messed up and insane as him.

Everything was blue
