"Okay, operation 'Talk To Bakery Boy' is a go," Liam said, in a voice much like a drill sergeants'.
Liam opened the door to his big house and walked in, Louis trailing behind him. He had been over the Payne house many times, and it was like he lived here, since he was coming over at least once a week.
"You know, I don't think I'm quite ready for such a big step yet," Louis said slyly, trying to get out of the deal he made with Liam.
"Yes you are," Liam argued back. He was not about to let his friend miss out on an opportunity that could lead to something great.
"No I'm not."
"Lou, we both know that you're not winning this argument." Louis huffed in annoyance, but didn't respond, knowing Liam was right.
The two boys walked to Liam's huge kitchen, to grab some food to snack on while prepping Louis for his big day tomorrow. Even though they had just ate dinner, they were two growing boys after all. After they grabbed a bag of chips and some drinks, they headed upstairs and into Liam's bedroom.
The room was painted a light shade of blue, with many different posters on the wall of his favourite celebrities, and such. He had a king sized bed in the middle of the room, with a simple but elegant looking blue cover. His furniture was a dark oak brown, complementing the whole room. One look at his room and it wouldn't be hard to tell that his family had money.
"Okay, um, what do we do?" Louis questioned, as he threw the bag of chips on the floor and jumped onto Liam's bed. He laid down on his back, putting his hands behind his head as he settled in to relax.
"Well, we have to get your outfit ready, and maybe some conversation starters, and-"
"You sound like a girl," Louis pointed out, before raising his voice an octave higher to imitate a girl.
"Like oh m gee, we need to like, get a super cute outfit, and like, curl my hair to perfection. We need to think of some super funny and witty one liners also, to make him laugh, he will like, find it super hilarious. Oh, and let's not forget about the shoes, high heel stilettos, or flats?" Louis said, waving his hands around and acting too excited for his own good.
By the time Louis had finished his little monologue, Liam was busting a fit. He was laughing so hard, that he had to lean against the wall so he wouldn't collapse on the floor. After a few minutes, Liam was able to regain his breath, he sat on the bed, careful to avoid sitting on his friend.
"Okay, let's get started."
Both boys stood up and walked over to Liam's closet. Liam reached in and pulled out four different shirts, two hoodies, and three pairs of trousers. He tossed them all to Louis, who was struggling to see over them. Louis went and dumped them all on the bed.
"Okay, try them on," Liam ordered, pushing a pair of black skinny jeans, a light grey t-shirt, and a black jean jacket his way. Louis started changing, not caring that Liam was in the room, as they were best friends after all.
"I don't understand why you're so self-conscious, you have an fit body, nothing to be ashamed of," Liam muttered, more to himself, but Louis answered anyways.
"Don't worry about it Li," he replied, struggling to tug the tight jeans on.
"But Lou, you used to be so confident, what happened?"
